With the way the world is these days and the fewer northerners. The course was much quieter than my past visits. This made for a perfect pace of play and much more relaxed day.
The staff are all accommodating and engaging.
Weather was excellent and greens tricky, interesting but fair.
I will play here again of course !!

This course has everything to offer in an Arizona style golf course but for much less. Numerous scenic and challenging holes.
After a short frost delay the staff got everything up and going smoothly. Mike in the pro shop as well as the starters we’re on top of it keeping everyone informed. I was particularly pleased to see the course ranger multiple times throughout the round monitoring the pace of play. I will definitely be back!

The front end of the course is under major construction and a slight hassle.
Once that obstacle course is over though the course is in great shape with many interesting holes on the Red and Blue that I played.
When the new club house is finished and the course design is complete this course is going to be very memorable !!

You cannot help but appreciate all the mature trees and lush grass. Some interesting holes. There’s a few par 4’s that could be easy birdie holes and a par five that dog legs right. The tee shot is to a wide open fairway only to be presented with a narrowing dog leg all the way to green. Not the longest course but very enjoyable!

Every time I’ve played this course (4th time) I am very pleased with the round. It’s a true Arizona style course amongst the hills and the homes. It is well maintained and with the my preference of early tee times I get the best price.

This course reminded me of the courses in Ontario Canada. The type of grass and greens were well watered and maintained. Loved the greens.
I do wish they provided more yardage markers on the fairways though.
Definitely will golf here again.

With friends in town and only 9 holes planned we played the back nine.
From check in to our breakfast sandwich and everything in between. This was an all round pleasant and fun experience. The staff were all great from pro shop to the very nice lady who created our delicious egg sandwich’s.
The course was in perfect condition.
They set the bar high.

I have been golfing in Arizona for past 10 years. This is now one of my favourite courses.

This course is just old and worn out. From tee box (if you can find it) to green and everything in between is like hitting from the rough. The one pond is runoff from a drainage culvert and it is pretty nasty. I wasn’t motivated enough to recover a lost ball because of the disgusting foam around the shore. With the hot deal and addition discount I played this at an extremely low price and like they say ‘you get what you pay for’.

I had not played Lonetree for several years. The price to play there had increased and I felt the course was not worth the cost. For this round we found a hot deal and a price I could live with. As the round began I started to understand the reason for the price increase. There has been significant work done on the course making it more interesting and tougher to play even though the course can still be forgiving on some holes. The greens were in great shape and many are a challenge.
The pace of play on the front nine was very good. Unfortunately it seems some groups were allowed to tee off on the back nine and we (group in front and behind us) eventually caught up to them ,turning the round into 5 hrs instead of 3 1/2 - 4 hrs.
We get very early tee times to avoid this and it was disappointing that we still got stacked up at the tees.
I will play lonetree again but it will have to be another hotdeal.

Though not an overly challenging course it is a pleasure to play. It was in great shape and reasonably priced. We teed off very early and it was like we had the course to ourselves.

This was my time at this course and we had a very early tee time. Course is in a great location for scenic value (Superstition mountain). The greens were in great shape with some challenging pin placements. The course does have some designed water hazards that were completely dry unfortunately. This effected not only the challenge of several holes, but also the course aesthetics. All in all I will be back to play again next winter. With another golfnow hotdeal that is !
