It's obvious that the course is skimping on routine maintenance. Thin fairway grass on many holes hampers enjoyable play.

This course has excellent layout and meanders through the woods and waters truly well-designed manner. That's what makes it so disappointing, that the deferred maintenance makes a course barely playable. From what I understand, the course has been sold and is being sold again all within the space of a year or so. It's a shame because the course design is really outstanding for Florida meandering through beautiful wooded and watered grounds.

Drainage seems to be a real problem, with water and unplayable lies everywhere. I presume the underground drainage system is a problem, probably from the age of the course and lack of maintenance. It could be an outstanding course with the right maintenance and investment.

I played this course and half a dozen or so times annually when I'm in the St. Augustine area. Generally, the staff is quite different, which was a case this time in the clubhouse. Unfortunately, after nine holes the starter engaged in the rather rancorous discourse. I don't know what prompted it, I have been playing a single and made the turn. I had played through a couple of foursomes without asking and is playing even par golf and more than keeping pace to a one hour and 10 minute nine. This outburst had a very negative impact on my feeling regarding the course and its personnel. I enjoy the course, I think the amenities are understaffed and will probably opt for other courses close by all things being equal. Perhaps, they don't like GolfNow players. Simply no reason for discourteous behavior.

The golf course seems to be in better shape under new management. It's about an hours drive from the Twin Cities, 40 minutes from the northwest suburbs and well worth the experience.
I played first thing in the morning and the staff member helping me was excellent and accommodating. It's a great start to the day when you have a friendly reception and helpful personnel. The course was in excellent condition, the greens were well-maintained and the course Essene improvements of the past couple years. Recommend it to anyone interested in a short trip to Clearwater, Minnesota.

Bulrush is more than 1 Hour drive from my home, but worth the drive. It offers a number of interesting holes, especially on the backside. Excellent value and interesting challenge. I would recommend the course without hesitation.

Well it takes approximately an hour from the Twin Cities, the drive is well worth the experience. The courses well-maintained, excellent layout and personnel are friendly and helpful. Try to play once or twice a year and always find the course in good shape and very playable.

I play Timber Creek around 10 times a year because it presents an excellent value, friendly staff and a well-maintained and challenging layout. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. Always enjoyable.

I play this course a number of times each summer. I can always count on a pleasant staff, pleasant experience and an enjoyable round of golf. Well-maintained and constantly being improved.

I play CreeksBend once or twice a year. It's always a pleasant experience with friendly staff and a fair layout. Part of the course can be subject to issues with water because of the nature of the layout. That is to be expected and worked around, not a negative. Overall, the course is well-maintained and a pleasant experience for the average, beginning or advanced golfer.

I played as a single the first nine played quickly. On the second nine, there were two foursomes and a five some that were extremely slow. I finally had to quit after four holes because there was no indication I completed through and these groups are taken 25 minutes per hole to play.
Unfortunately, there wasn't a Ranger on the course encouraging groups to play faster. However, the staff is extremely courteous and competent and this is the first time slow play has caused me to have to quit after 13 moles.

I play Timber Creek approximately 10 times yearly. I maintain a club membership in Florida and use Golf Now for my rounds Minnesota. I find that Timber Creek is probably the best value available on Golf Now when you take into account all factors i.e., distance, quality of the course and personnel and the overall friendliness of the staff. Very professional and welcoming.

I have written reviews from Timber Creek previously and one of the follow-up with comments that reflect the excellence of value and friendliness of the staff. The course has undergone significant improvement in the past few years in maintenance and correcting some earlier defects. The ownership continues this excellent record of constant improvement and making the golfer feel welcome. Outstanding management and staff.

I Have played course several times a year. It's a pleasant course, not particular difficult and within a reasonable distance of the Northwest suburbs.

I will not play again because of the attitude of the staff against GolfNow members. The staff member was quite explicit in saying that they do not welcome golf now members. Especially, the hot deal. I tried to explain to him that this is a marketing/advertising'expense to the course and if they don't want golf now members to reserve tee times they shouldn't participate. Although the course is convenient and the prices are generally quite fair, I will not book a tee time there again. With the state of golf and the declining demographics I think their attitude is quite shortsighted.

I usually play Kimball once or twice a year. It's a very scenic and rolling venue with an excellent layout. It's well worth the trip from the Minneapolis suburbs, about one hour for an excellent round of golf. I found the staff friendly and courteous. Well worth the trip.

I play Timber Creek half a dozen or so times a year. The ownership has done an outstanding job of bringing the course up to the best standards of play and condition. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They treat every customer with respect and courtesy. It's a real pleasure to play the course and each time you feel that the staff is gone out of their way to make you feel comfortable

I play Monticello several times a year and the course was in good shape considering the difficult winter and spring. The staff was friendly and the head pro exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent value and a short commute from the western suburbs.

The most important change I have noted since last year is the friendliness of the staff. The head pro has always been friendly and helpful. This seems to be rubbing off on the clubhouse staff as well. Makes for an enjoyable experience.

The course lacks the maintenance necessary to enjoy it's potential. The fairways lack proper watering and the greens are in poor condition. Could be a challenging course if properly maintained.

Enjoyable course, well laid out and excellent value. The staff is very friendly and the course is well maintained with an excellent pace of play.
