Edgewater Golf Club
Played On 07/04/2021Always worth the drive from Charlotte.
Beautiful course, great layout. I really love playing this course. Greens were pretty slow this round, but otherwise, always worth the drive especially with the outrageous pricing of Charlotte area courses this year.
Staff are super friendly.

Course was in great condition as opposed to many other courses at the moment due to many other courses having performed a recent aeration.
Greens were very nice although the front nine holes were much more in need of ball mark repair than the back nine. This is not the fault of the course but of the people playing that simply either don’t repair their ball marks or do not know how to CORRECTLY repair a ball mark. Since the greens here are nice and soft, ball marks are an issue.
Staff was super friendly and the pace of play was exceptional (just over 3 hours for our group).

The greens were quick and rolled really well, but you definitely need to be below the hole. They had a couple of holes where the pins were absurdly placed to the point where no one was getting near the pin.
They have a few tee boxes that are in pretty rough shape, but I will take nice greens over nice tee boxes any day.
Overall, one of my favorite layouts to play around Charlotte.
