While we ended up finishing in reasonable time the 3 some in front of us were quite slow playing tees they shouldn't have. Ranger was around but obviously said nothing to them even though there was an open hole in front of them.

Always enjoy playing here and course is in very good shape. Staff are always friendly from the moment you enter the gate and value is usually very good.. Slow play can be a problem but it is a retirement community. Great for inexperienced golfers. Staff is very organized. well worth the drive.

Pace of play can often be an issue here and this round started off very slow but picked up. Beverage cart was not running. Greens were quick and true. A few fairways were painted although they looked healthy. Staff was very accommodating and organized. Course is very playable and especially suited for mid to high handicaps.

The Duke has been in questionable shape over the past few years but this year it is in very good condition after the overseeding. The greens and aprons are full and healthy. Staff is organized and helpful. Only area of concern is pace of play.

Have driven by on numerous occasions but first time playing. Overseeding just completed so cart path only. Greens will be very good once they are cut down. Course is fairly straight forward and not difficult. Traps, tees, and fairways are all in good shape and course was good value. Will play again. Pay attention to pin placement as the approach can vary greatly.

Overseeding just completed and appears to have taken well. Greens are healthy and are ready to be cut down. Sand traps are very poor. Definitely need a range finder. Dont expect pristine conditions but the price reflects this.

Not busy at all and very reasonable. It is normally quite busy. Ice machines and water dispensers are a very good idea. Marshalls were extra friendly and accommodating. Course is well laid out and fun to play. Was in good shape for late April.

Course was in great shape considering overseeding was just completed. Cart path only which is normal. Renovations on going which was the only draw back. The pro staff listening to jack hammers all day long. Didn't bother stopping after the golf because of the noise. Driving range was a long ride around the normal tee area. Not cheap

The course was getting ready for overseeding but was still in decent shape. Not a total desert course with plenty of mounds and undulations. Nice mix of length and dog legs. No spectacular holes but no gimmicks. Could have used a beverage cart and marshal. Extensive renovations in progress but for the most part they didn't interfere with play. Not a five star resort but decent value.

Have played this course many times before and it has always been in great shape. This time the greens were terrible although I suspect it could be related to the upcoming overseeding. Starter and cart girl were very nice. Water in play on majority of holes and beginner golfers may have some difficulty. Would wait until overseeding is complete.

Got a very good rate from Golf Now and played with some locals. Don't expect an immaculate resort style course. We were off very early and finished in good time. Lined by houses but fairways are quite generous. Range finder would help. Didn't spend much time in the clubhouse but everyone I talked to was pleasant. Seemed quite organized with a starter on the first tee and the ranger showing up a number of times.

Managed to get a good price as a single and was paired up with 3 locals. Have played this course numerous times and it is always fine. Never in real good shape but their rates are generally very reasonable. Have a variety of different holes and tees to suite all ability levels. Not a destination course and I suggest you play early in the day. Personal yardage device useful.

For late August the conditions were great. Staff was very pleasant. Plenty of elevation changes and a nice variety of hole layouts. I suggest playing tees to match your abilities. Our group finished in good time but I suspect you may get some long rounds in the busy season.

Golf course is very enjoyable. Club house is ordinary at best. Considering we started at 2:00 the pace of play was great. The starter did a great job of explaining some of the course basics to us. If you just want to golf I heartily recommend this course but if you want a nice meal after go elsewhere for your food.

From the club house to the practice faciloities and course this is a great course to experience. Many unique holes and well manicured conditions. Not a typical desert course in that there are numerous slopes and mounds.

Have golfed here many times in the past 3 years and the Duke is always in good shape. With many frost delays and cancellations lately they did a good job of getting everyone out.

Very difficult course and probably not suitable for beginners. Greens were in exceptional shape and very quick, bunkers were a bit inconsistent and some were lacking sand. Choose your tees and don't just go back as far as you can. Need an ability to play target golf and also need some length.
