Chisel Creek Golf Club
Played On 07/28/2019Happy It Is Still Open
This course has been for sale for several years, and I am surprised it is still open. It is a good place to play if you want a quick round on an empty course. Course conditions are not good, but for $25 it is worth playing. It is a good layout with some interesting holes. Hopefully someone will buy it and give it some tlc (and some money).
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 07/25/2019A Course Worth Joining
If I was going to join a course and not use a GolfNow, this is the course I would join. It checks all the boxes, from the beautiful clubhouse with a great locker room, the terrific practice area for both long and short game, the finely manicured course, to the great 19TH hole and patio.
Ingleside Golf Club
Played On 05/28/2019Nice Greens
This a fun course and good for an ego boost. Slightly under 5000 yards from the white tees at par 68, the course is not overly difficult. However, the two par 5s at 500 yards are not easy. The greens were in great shape, but the traps needed work. Pace of play was under 3 hours.

Inniscrone Golf Club
Played On 05/24/2019Not Ready For Prime Time
This is a wonderful Gil Hanse designed course. Unfortunately, it was not in good shape today. Although the fairways were fine, the greens, tee boxes and especially the bunkers were not up to par. Tee boxes were bare in many spots, the greens were long and bumpy, and the bunkers were a total disaster. The first bunker I was in had half a rake, the next one had none. None of the bunkers had seen a power raker, they were unplayable. Hopefully the course will receive the TLC it deserves.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us with 3 stars. We always strive for a 5 star experience, so all of your feedback is appreciated. Please feel free to contact the club directly if you feel that there are specifics we can improve on. We hope to have you back at the course in the future.
Loch Nairn Golf Course
Played On 05/16/2019A Gem
I have been playing this course for over 50 years, and it is still enjoyable. The course was in good condition, the greens a little slow, but running true. We enjoyed a beer on the patio after the round. The food is very good there, especially the crab cakes.
PGA National Resort - Palmer Course
Played On 05/07/2019Interesting Layout
This course is more interesting than the Champions Course, with doglegs and water in strategic locations. It was in excellent condition considering a heavy rain the night before that resulted in cart path only requirements.
Village at Jupiter Hills Club
Played On 05/05/2019Top Notch Golf Experience
We had an opportunity to play this course twice, and it was a great experience. The natural hilly topography of this course is very unusual for Florida, and made for great vistas, and interesting holes. Everything about Jupiter Hills was first class, from the clubhouse to the practice areas, and warm and hospitable staff.
PGA National Resort - Champion Course
Played On 05/04/2019Experience the Honda Classic Golf Course
PGA National is a huge resort with 5 courses. Today we played the Champions Course where the play the Honda Classic..it was a nice Course, but not too visually appealing. The course was in good shape and it was fun to play where the pros play.
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park
Played On 04/23/2019Everything You Need
This facility has everything you would hope for in a golf course - great clubhouse, well stocked pro shop, beautiful locker room, fabulous practice area with practice traps and chipping green, electric powered carts, interactive GPS, and a great layout. This course checks all the boxes. It also has a beautiful dining room and bar, which, unfortunately is never open after we finish our round.
The course was in good condition. The greens had been recently punched and sanded, but they rolled well. A fun course to play, but don’t go from the back tees, and bring lots of balls.

Atlantic City Country Club
Played On 04/17/2019A Classic Course
This is a course with a lot of character and a ton of history (the term “birdie” was invented here). The view of Atlantic City is fabulous (it looks a lot better from this distance than close up). The course was in great condition and the wind was blowing hard. We were ready to reach the 19th hole and enjoy Happy Hour.
Inniscrone Golf Club
Played On 04/16/2019Good Value
This Gil Hanse Course is fun to play with some interesting holes. The course was in good, but not great condition. The fairways were long, the greens bumpy, and the traps needed sand. As a Hot Deal, it was a good value.
Thank you for the 4-Star review! We appreciate you coming out and hope to see you again soon.
Broad Run Golfer's Club
Played On 04/12/2019Not A Walking Course
Not only is this a hilly course, the distance from green to tee is long (supposedly 1 mile from the18th green to the clubhouse). There are some very interesting holes and the course was in good condition. The greens were moderately fast and rolled true.
The driving range is into the side of a hill, and is only good for loosing up. The senior rate of $59 is too high, and consequently the course was fairly empty.
Loch Nairn Golf Course
Played On 04/08/2019A Sweet Little Course
I have been playing this course for over 50 years. It is a nice layout and fun to play. Course conditions vary from time to time. Today it was in pretty good shape, with fast, but bumpy greens. They have some of the best food you ever find at a golf course. Go for the crab cakes.
Streamsong Resort - Red Course
Played On 04/03/2019A Fan Favorite
The Red Course was the third and final course we played as part of The Golf Advisory Golf Getaway. It was worth the wait. Our threesome was the first group out at 7:30, and we buzzed around in 3:50! This Core/Crenshaw design was my favorite (and most everyone I asked) of the three Streamsong. With picturesque vistas, the course was right in front us, with the exception of one par 5 guarded by a huge sand dune.
My only knock on the course (and on all the Streamsong courses) was the depth of sand in the traps. In most cases the sand was very deep and not well manicured. A few of the traps had been washed out by rain.
Streamsong Resort - Black Course
Played On 04/02/2019The Windmill Course
How many times have we, as golfers, said “all this course needs is a windmill”? Well give Gil Hanse kudos for having the nerve to actually put a windmill on Streamsong Black. Once you play the hole with the bowl green, you will understand the reference to a miniature golf course. You cannot see the pin from the fairway, but if you are lucky your approach shot may roll down to the hole if goes in, you win a free game). If not, it is fun to run a put up the side of the bowl and see how close you can get to the hole.
This is the newest of the Streamsong courses, and perhaps the most interesting.
Streamsong Resort - Blue Course
Played On 04/01/2019A Dunes Course in Central Florida
While there was no ocean or large body of water nearby, the dunes and man made lakes evoked a feeling of playing Whistling Straits on Lake Michigan or even a Scottish course. There were a lot of elevation changes which you don’t usually experience in Florida. Walking the course with a caddy was a delightful way to experience this course.
The course was generally in good condition, with my only objection being to the sand traps. The sand was not consistent, with some traps having an over abundance of sand. The traps had not been groomed my machine which also made them inconsistent.
Mountain Lake
Played On 03/31/2019Traditional Southern Beauty
I played this course for the first time on a Golf Advisory Getaway. The minute you drive through the security gate, you realize you are somewhere special. You drive to the clubhouse among very nice homes on large landscaped lots. A unique feature of this private club, is the shoe changing room. The course is a Seth Raynor design from 1916, recently restored to its former glory. The course is not long, and the fairways are generous, which made for a fun first course to play on or Getaway. The greens were running very fast with lots of undulation. You would need to play here many times to know where to leave your approach shots on the greens, to have the best opportunity to make a putt. I could play this course every dayand never be bored.
Tanglewood Manor Golf Club
Played On 03/20/2019Worth the Drive
I had not played this course in 30 years, but I heard good things about it from golfers I played with last week. It showed up as a hot deal today, so I decided to give it a try. The course was in good shape for the first day of Spring. It is not the most interesting layout with one par 5 and one par 3 on the front. It was a good value at $12, and I will probably go back for that price. The GPS on the cart was very helpful.
Ingleside Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2019Great Course After Winter Layoff
It was finally warm enough and dry enough to get on the golf course. After the winter layoff, I wanted a course that would boost my ego, by not being too difficult. I selected Ingleside because it is short (5100:yards from the back tees); and does not have a lot of low areas.
After birding Number 1, I knew I had picked the right course! Conditions were a little rough and the course played long due to the soft conditions. However, 14 or 15 of the greens had been mowed today, and they rolled pretty well.
This is a fun course to play, but watch for the two par 5s- they are challenging. The price at $10.60 was a bargain.
Hi Gary, We're happy the weather has finally warmed up. Thank you for leaving us a 4-star rating.
Inniscrone Golf Club
Played On 09/23/2019Inniscrone in Great Shape
We have had 2+weeks of dry weather, so I expected Inniscrone to be brown. I was surprised to find it in the best shape of the season. Fairways were green, the greens were running fast and true, and the rough was outrageous! The only problem was, we only got about half the rollout we expected!
Outstanding! Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Inniscrone Golf Club.
