Normanby Hall Country Park
Played On 10/23/2023Normanby Hall
The course was open when most were closed due to the recent rain. It was a bit soggy in places, but just about playable. Most of the bunkers were being worked upon and will look good next year.
Quite a bit of crow damage on the fairways.
Greens in decent Nick though for the time of year.

I got half way there to get a message telling me the course was closed.

Course in excellent condition, and the greens ran true. Made all the better by a nice pint and fish n chips to follow.

Great course and as you walk around it is hard to believe that you are in the middle of grimsby town.
Bondhay Golf Club - Championship Course
Played On 07/05/2021Great course
Played it for the first time yesterday, and was amazed how pretty the course is..... stunning hole after stunning hole. Quite challenging though and tight, but managed to not lose a ball....(more luck than judgement). I will be going back for sure.

Very picturesque course nicely manicured. The bunkers didn’t hold much sand though, and the greens could have been rolled and cut shorter because they were slow.
That aside, a great day.

Played On 06/23/2021Tough Rough
A very pretty course with tricky undulating greens. Lost several balls ( and found a few) in quite long rough. Bunkers don’t have much sand in them and being hard dirt it makes coming out quite unpredictable.

Lovely course with several tricky undulating greens. There is quite a lot of very long rough to punish the wayward golfer, however generally the course is in great condition.

A lovely course with quite varied holes across the undulations of the wolds.
Challenging greens although fast and true.
Well worth the trip.
Forest Pines Hotel & Golf Resort - Forest Course
Played On 12/22/2019Weather resistance
When nearly every course in the area is closed by being waterlogged, this course stands head and shoulders above the competition for being fully open playable and dry. Even the bunkers are dry full of sand and in play, where other courses have bunkers that now double as water hazards.
