I really enjoy the layout at Baytree and I really like how kid friendly they are. Unfortunately, the course is a tinder box right now. The fairway crunches under your feet as you walk from the dry, burnt out grass.

The greens are barely colored to their name. The rest of the course is 100% brown. Doesn't matter much in the FW with the sandy soil but forget about getting decent lies around the green. The holes were pretty beat up and looked like they hadn't been changed in 2 weeks.

Shame too as it's a fantastic layout. I can safely say Baytree was the worst conditioned golf course I've ever played on 3/24/18. Don't play now unless you temper your expectations and get a $20 round. I'm sure the conditions will improve in June once it starts to rain as it's obvious they haven't turned on the sprinklers since October.
