Priest Lake Golf Club
Played On 08/22/2021Fun track! A tale of 2 different 9's
The course is a fun track. Originally it was a 9 hole golf course. About 30? years ago they built the back 9 into the wetlands and the back 9 is definitely the harder of the two nines. A wonderful track not far from the shores of priest lake and hills resort. Has a great bar and friendly staff.
River Course at Alisal
Played On 01/29/2015Just keeps getting better!
I played Alisal River when it first opened up. The trees were scrawny and the fairways were thin. This course has matured, and matured beautifully. It's been over a decade since I played here, but it is in great shape, the greens roll true, and the pace of play was fantastic. Happy to give them 5 stars. Well deserved!
Deer Island Country Club
Played On 01/21/2015Nice track, great value for the money
Enjoyed a good round here with my business partner. He felt it was one of the best courses he has played in the USA. For me I liked it, it was well designed and fun to play. Be warned that like lots of Orlando tracks you will be playing target golf off the tee as there are many water hazards. Overall I enjoyed it, 4 stars for me, 5 from my playing partner.
Kissimmee Bay Country Club
Played On 01/19/2015Fast fun round - ok conditions
Fun design, decent condition. Pace was fast, looked like the later afternoon was packed and slow, but for us we zoomed without delays through 18 holes.
Staff were reasonably friendly. It's winter, so overall happy.
Priest Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/03/2014Great Golf Course at Priest Lake
Love this course. The staff are friendly and the course itself is fun to play. It is a good par 72 golf course, and very reasonably priced. The twilight rate is near a $1 per hole to play. The late May, early June conditions can be a bit rough due to punching and getting the course out of it's winter hibernated state, but they do it quickly and the course by the 2nd week of June is awesome. 100% recommend coming up and playing this great little course near Priest Lake.
Highlands Golf Course
Played On 06/02/2014Fun course, still coming out of winter.
I played 36 holes in 4 hours with a cart as a single. Fast play with friendly people on the course who let me play through.
The "hot deal" was a steal at 14.50 cents for 18 with a cart. Can't beat that. The design is fun and interesting, but not too challenging. For a long hitter you can chew it up.
The greens are still a bit ragged as they are coming out of winter. I would like to try to play it when they are flush. Overall fun round at a nice local course in Post Falls.
Priest Lake Golf Club
Played On 06/01/2014Fun track on the only course at Priest Lake Idaho
Priest Lake golf course is a fun golf course located at Priest Lake on the west side. It is the only golf course in the area and anybody who lives up here is thankful that we have it.
The course is very score-able on the front nine and then much tougher on the back nine. Staff are friendly, the food is pretty good, and the twilight is always a steal.
Sandpiper Golf Course
Played On 03/10/2014The Pipe! Great Course!
Played the Pipe at 6:50am for $79 through golf now. Played as a single and they threw in the cart. Played 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours.
Played from the tips. It's a great course from any tee, and a great challenge from the Championship tees. Played this course growing up and it was great to get back out there and see it still looks great 20 years later.
Ojai Valley Inn
Played On 01/10/2014Nice track, but not great
I had a decent experience, but based on it's reputation of being a great course I was a bit underwhelmed. I got a good deal on Golfnow, so for the price, not bad. I would play this course again without hesitation, but in my opinion it is not all it is cracked up to be. It does have some great holes. If you only have time for 9 holes then play the back. The back is much nicer and is what makes this course worth playing.
Avila Beach Golf Resort
Played On 01/07/2014Course Condition needs serious work.
Fun old golf course, but the condition was truly awful, particularly the fairways, but the greens were not much better. A shame.
La Purisima Golf Course
Played On 01/06/2014Great track, poor, but improving conditions
One of the best largely unknown courses on the west coast. It has fallen into bad disrepair in recent years but according to the shop staff was bought by some local guys and they are slowly bringing it back to its former glory.
I look forward to getting back out there in 3, 6, 9 months from now as that rehabilitation of a once glorious course proceeds.
Stoneridge Golf Course
Played On 09/03/2013Fun track. Decent length. Great value
Got a super deal through Golfnow with cart for under $30. Playing from the back tees, the course has good length at over 6800 yards and for the price it was worth the drive.
Will be back again this upcoming season when I find a good deal.
