Like the layout but was told at check in that they top dressed the greens. This was needed as the greens are not in good shape. Made it very diffricult to putt for the day. Hopefully, thye greens will recover.

Monroe Country Club
Played On 08/18/2020Good course for the money.
Enjoyed playing Monroe Country Club. The 2 nines are vastly different in design as we all know, but both are in decent shape. My recommendation would be to put a hybrid set of tees on the card because of the length of the blue tees on the back nine. That would get the back nine down 150 - 200 yds. and keep the length decent.

Course was pretty wet with cart path only which was needed. Greens had not been aerated yet so they were hard and fast. There was no water in the coolers nor were the fountains re-installed. Should have had something operating.
Hopefully, golfers will not make a mess of the course before it dries out because much damage could occur.

We apologize for the condition of our greens. The bent grass greens have suffered recently due to a combination of increased play, heat, and rain. We are working hard to have them back in great shape over the coming weeks. Thank you for your understanding and hope to have you back out this fall when the greens have healed up.
