It took 2hrs 45mins to finish the front nine and we gave up on the 11th hole with 8 carts sitting at the tee box. Yes it was cheap compared to other courses but not worth the agony of 5hr rounds. Spend the extra money and play elsewhere for now.

Nice layout and driving range. Pace of play could have been a little better. The greens were aerated couple weeks ago and still aren't 100%. Will come back when they are an experience probably much different putting results. Staff was great.

I’ve been playing here for 20 years and the front 9 greens are currently in the worst shape I have ever seen. This is not worth $70 let alone $30 in its current condition. You’ve been warned

This is a very well run course from the time you arrive to the team you leave. They do not tolerate slow play in season which is why I play here. Course is always in very good to excellent condition. This is worth the $70 dollars (Golf Now)with free range balls and nice practice facility.

I have played this course hundreds of times and it’s finally come full circle.. The greens are faster than they have EVER been. Very good value

This course is great, but on this visit you could see they cut fairways way too low, with bad patches and many greens have problems. I’ll give them a pass this time of year and I know they will get corrected going into season.

This is without a doubt one of the 5 best courses in Sarasota/Manatee County area. The only thing you have to understand when you go here is that even in the off season a round of golf can take 4+ hours. They space them out perfectly in 15-20 min intervals but almost every time we play here we catch up to a foursome, usually of women members, (just being honest), that could care less about who they are holding up. The staff is top notch and friendly but I don't think they want to tell some of the members to giddy up..

Nice wide open course with 5 par 5's and 5 par 3's. Greens are huge and they play as hard and fast as a pool table. Great sand in the bunkers. The par 5's are reachable in 2 shots if the wind isn't in your face cause the ball just keeps rolling down the fairway. There are really no amenities and barely any water on the course but thats only because its still under construction. DON'T rely on your google maps to get you to this location its on the left about 2 miles east of the interstate.

I think the Title says it all. The old timers love playing here and obviously aren't in any hurry to go home. Stay away unless you llike you like slow play for the next few months. No rangers.

I stopped playing this course regularly years ago because of the horrid course conditions. I read a few recent reviews and heard from a friend there have been major improvements so I decided to give it a try. I have to say this course has done lots of work from the tee boxes to the greens which were in as good as shape as the best courses in the area. The course design has always been very challenging. The fairways could use a little more work and the manicuring of some of the landscape needs to addressed but the budget probably doesn't allow for it. I have to say they have made a huge improvement, lets hope they can keep it up.

I'm just giving a heads to anyone who is looking to book a round here in the next 2 weeks. The course just vertical cut everything. Putting is a joke. This review is only to warn golfers since it was not indicated on GolfNow. This course is one of the areas finest but not for a couple weeks. I played 7/12/2016.

Course is immaculate. The greens rolled well. This course is pretty wide open and you can score well. The only issue is that they need a tee box between the tips and the next box. You either play 6100 or 6700. The new tiki bar makes this place feel like a resort. The is probably top 3 public course in 30 mile radius.

In a nutshell, we played the first nine holes (19-27) in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Excellent!! Never saw anybody in front of us ever. Then we approached the remaining back nine (1-9) and saw a foursome on the tee box, and a foursome in the fairway waiting for another group to get off the green. We couldn't believe what we were seeing? Why would they start people off the front nine when they told us and the group behind us to start off on (19-27). What an absolute way to ruin a round of golf. Back nine took 2 hrs and 10 minutes. Disgraceful. Not 1 ranger either. This course is without a doubt one of the best in Sarasota area as far as condition and overall grooming, but this is not the first time this has happened to us. I think I'll wait till the summer and play here in the afternoons so I don't have to deal with this lunacy.
