I've played EL many times and it's a really good deal and a very nice layout. However, yesterday I used GolfNow to book a Saturday 3:08 tee time for my bother's b-day. When we got there 40 minutes before our tee time, we checked in with the starter... he told us that at 3:00 a social-mixer shotgun scramble was to use the first six holes. We were stuck and it took us 2.5 hours to play nine. CALL the PRO SHOP first and ask if there are any scheduled events being held.

It's golf heaven. No houses, just the lay of the land. All the agronomy was excellent and the greens were sweet. They were both receptive and rolled true. Down hill, they were rolling at about a 12 (on the stemp-meter) and uphill at a 6, so putting was another great challenge. The range was good, as was the practice area. At the first tee, there is another practice green. All and all, a really good track.

…loved this course… the greens being tift-eagle and needing only to be mowed occasionally during the winter… rolled and dyed… were super fast. The fairways were a little skinny though. Several of the greens were elevated, living one a tough up and down if it's missed.
