North at Randolph Golf Course
Played On 04/10/2015Pleasantly surprised
It was a nice surprise when we got to the range to actually hit off grass but the best improvement was NEW RANGE BALLS! Saw some other changes as well. The little snack building adjacent to the pro shop that has been closed for years was open. The course was in great shape from tee, fairway to green. Still a lot of hard pan and bare areas off the fairway and around the greens but nothing that would stop me from playing Randolph again. I was in two greenside bunkers, they were in good condition. Pleasant day.

Played On 04/09/2015Fun day on a fun course
I love this course, there are some really challenging holes and there are a few that let you grip it and rip it. Chose your battles carefully on this well layed out course design. Fairways and greens are wonderful. A course you'll remember. Fun day.

The course was in great condition. The greens were great, the fairways were wonderful, the rough was reasonably cut and fair. Bunkers were nice. The typography was conducive to the rating. Saw some wildlife, and although the course is built around residential housing they don't come into play at all. Beautiful scenery thoughout. I would recommend this course and look forward to playing again.
North at Randolph Golf Course
Played On 03/31/2015First time this year
This was the first time I had played Randolph this year, after hearing about the new management and the fact they just hosted a PGA qualifier I thought I'd give it a try. I have to say there have been some changes. New carts with GPS was the change that stood out for me. The driving range was typical, hard pan lies and over used golf balls. The greens were nice, the fairways were in great shape and the tee boxes were ok. Many areas around the greens were sparse grass and if there was some it was in clumps. I was only in one sand trap near a green, it was dry, hard, but when I dug in I could see there was plenty of sand. A little TLC in the traps would help. The pace of play was the biggest draw back. For a course that isn't long from green to tee 4.45 hours is a bit long. No ranger. I'll give it another try before I recommend playing, maybe this was just a bad day.

Played On 03/29/2015A great experience
I've played Quarry Pines several times, I always bring guests. Again, they met mine and my guests expectations. The staff was friendly, the course was in great shape and the pace of play was the bomb. Not too many courses get you through in less than four hours. We played in 3:45. Great pace.

Played On 03/15/2015Beautiful views
The views on this course were wonderful. The course was in great shape however the bunkers needed work; green side bunkers had little sand. Practice facility was average, the pro shop and outside services staff were super friendly. Great course layout.

Played On 02/27/2015Can't believe they will host a Champions tour qualifier
The only reason I played this course is because others in my group wanted to give it a go. After hearing they will be hosting a champions tour qualifier here in March, I thought it had to be in good shape. Boy was I wrong!! I will say that the greens were in good condition. Other than that this course was not in very good condition. Traps are terrible. The rough is just that. Very thin almost dirt. The city of Tucson let this course go and now OB has there hands full if they want to return it to what it once was.

I play this course every week because it is the best bang for your buck. Course is in tip top shape with amazing views which created a photo opportunity on almost every hole on the back.
