A fun and challenging course to play. Unfortunately the greens had just been aerated and ‘sanded’, both of which are necessary processes for maintaining the condition of a quality course. I’ll certainly be back again.

Merry Christmas to all. Enjoyed a beautiful 65 degree day playing 18 challenging holes, especially since they made it CART PATH ONLY today, not even with my handicapped lanyard (new knees this year). Made it tougher and a smidge slower, but not bad. Were no water coolers at all nor ball washers which I thought to be odd.

really enjoyed my round today. I went out as a single so you never know what to expect in terms of pace of play. There was a rather slow twosome in front of me. However, at the turn, I was able to join a threesome which slowed play down to a perfect pace. Three terrific guys who play together on a regular basis. They included me as if I were part of their group from the get go. Thank you guys. Happy Thanksgiving :-)

It was 92 degrees today with virtually no breeze. HOT!!! Course had cold drinking water in many locations. Thumbs up. Large undulating greens were receptive and quite fast. Stay in the fairway or you could lose your ball in the short rough. That happened several times. Frustrating. Layout was challenging but fun. I’ll be back for sure.

I've been wanting to play this course for some time now as friends of mine had told me about the course. I went by myself but was paired up with 3 other gentlemen. Good guys and a good time had by all. Food order had been placed on the 8th hole so it would be ready at the turn. It wasn't for some reason which put us a little behind. No big deal. Hot dog was huge...........and luke warm at best. I'll be back for sure.

A perfect 77 degree day with very little wind made for an ideal experience. Considering all the rain Larkin GC has had these last 3-4 days and all the excavation going on (back nine) for all the new homes, the conditions of the course were very good. Greens were recently aerated so that’s going to impact putting. To be expected. The greens are going to be really nice in a week or so. Much needed repairs needed on the front nine bridge. I will certainly be back this year as I find Larkin to be a fun layout and tremendous value.

The course recently reopened after being closed for 3 weeks to “complete” repairs. I think they opened too soon as there were several greens that are in still in rough shape. Also. It was a cart path only round, which I was not told of. I’m a senior and I would NOT have played if I was told up front. They also need to add more water coolers on the course. It’s summer and it’s hot. Should be a no brained

I enjoy all elements of playing here at Moorseville GC. Value, facilities, excellent carts, layout, food, close to home, etc. The course has some much needed changes and repairs scheduled for this month which will improve the experience even more. RECOMMENDATION - with the hot weather here, the course needs more drinking water stations. NOT vending machines that only take ca$h, but those 5 gallon Igloo water coolers. Pace of play was slow today due to the 90 degree only rule caused by the abundance of rain in the past week.
