Baytowne at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Played On 07/21/2021Would not spend my money here
Decided to play Baytown because the course looked nice online and couldn't get on Raven. The ONLY person at this course that was some what friendly was an older gentleman that worked the counter. EVERYONE else acted as if I was a bother to them. From the other older gentleman at the counter to the starter to the help! I wouldn't spend another dime at this course! For the money the greens were in poor shape, on 2 holes the cart paths didn't exist and it was like a pasture (It had rained a lot early in the morning and it was a mud pit through these paths) After finishing I went in to buy a shirt or hat (as I always do when playing a course I visit) and the older lady working the counter was rude and like everyone else acted as if I was putting her out to ring up my purchase!

Kelly Plantation Golf Club
Played On 07/19/2021A GREAT Place To Play
Took a spur of the moment trip to Destin. When we got there I researched the local golf courses. For my first outing I picked Kelly Plantation. What a GREAT pick it was!! This course is beautiful and well maintained. But as a customer service nut, I must say, the staff from the maintenance guys all the way up to the General Manager, Ashton Crowe, are SUPER!! EVERYONE was friendly, courteous and just made me want to come back. So Ashton, hold that Palm Tree shirt for me in a 2XL!!! I WILL definitely be back!!!
