nice layout
Course was in good shape with the exception of the bunkers they were all different from one to the next. Some were hardpan, one sugar sand really inconsistent which made them hard to play for all members of my group.
Sherwood Golf Club
Played On 02/07/2015Nice old Florida style course
We enjoy playing it every time. It's both gettable, and challenging. Hitting fairways is important, the rough has teeth. Greens were in great shape, fairways were good, couple of rough tee boxes, but nothing to bad. I didn't shoot all that well, (unexpected draws off the tee), but enjoyed the round and the course anyway. It's hard to beat for the price.
Eagle Creek Golf Club
Played On 01/19/2015great course
Course was in great shape, pace of play was slow, but that happens from time to time. Greens were receptive with a few ball marks. Bunkers had good sand and fairways were in good shape.
EastWood Golf Course
Played On 01/17/2015they didn't honor the golf now tee time
Booked a 0730 tee time through golfnow. The course had a club tournament scheduled and bumped our tee time to 0745 without letting me know. They stacked groups on 17 & 18, so we actually started after 0830. The course itself was I fair condition, but we played a 4.5 hour round and wat he members drive carts up to the edges of the greens repeatedly. I will never play this course again! It took 14 months for me to come back after my last experience, so shame on me for thinking it might have changed. People were waiting over an hour past their tee time even after we finished our round. Horrible.
The Majors Golf Club at Bayside Lakes
Played On 01/16/2015fantastic layout
Great course, but wet when I played.. Sand traps weren't raked, and gullies in some. It did rain over night so traps are sort of understandable.
The Club at Venetian Bay
Played On 12/13/2014highly recommend playing here
With the exception of the cold morning, this was an excellent round of golf. Greens rolled smoothly and fairly quick once the dew dried up. Fairways are in great shape, wet here and there but mostly good. Tee boxes were good, staff was very friendly and lunch was also good. Highly recommends this experience.
Indian River Preserve Golf Club
Played On 11/29/2014good value course worth a trip out there
The course was still a bit wet after the 7 plus inches of rain earlier in the week. The only hole truly changed by water was number one. The greens are very fast and in good shape, fairways were also in good shape bunkers were a mess and still wet with heavy sand and in a couple spots water still inside. pace of play was just over 4 hours with an 8 ish tee time.
Twin Rivers Golf Club
Played On 10/25/2014formerly great course being allowed to deteriorate
All the greens have dead spots some of them up to 30% dead. Very bumpy, pick your line and watch the ball bounce it's way in the general direction you started it. Most of the tee boxes were in good shape, some were more sandbox than tee box (#6). Fairways are in decent shape. Traps are either soaked, or a half inch of sand over hard pan.
I/we have always liked this course until this round, very disappointed and I can't imagine we would come back and try again anytime soon.
pmeed2002,
Thank you for coming and playing Stoneybrook West. We appreciate the feedback. We do try our very best to keep the bunkers in consistently good condition, and we are sorry if we fell short on this during your visit. We hope to see you back again soon!
