The course need water and attention.
Greens ok, fairways so so, rough mostly a mess.

This course is the most poorly managed course I have played at in the Coachella Valley.
Terribly unorgangized.
Never enough golf carts.
The starter was not only unhelful, he was rude.
Won't be going back any time soon.

Didn't have enough carts.
Starter friendly but terribly unorganized.
No beverage cart.
No food prepared at the turn,who wants to wait 15 minutes for a sandwich.
Nobody to clean your clubs and say please come back.
They need new management, somebody that wants to make money.

I booked thru GN. Got a call from GN, can't accept a single, so, I got paired at an earlier time - NBD. When I get to the course to check in, "$40 for 9 holes"? No, I paid $40 for 18 holes - showed my reciept. "OK, will do it as a courtesy". REALLY?
Starter moved us up to make his job easier, instead of allowing us time to warm up.
Royal course should never have opened. Greens looked and putted like waffle irons.
Overall, very disappointed.

If I knew the greens had recently been sanded, I would not have booked a tee time.
The slope rating from the white tees (123) is a joke. There isn't a flat spot on the golf course. Slope should be about 135.

Kudos to the Super and the grounds crew.

The course was in very good shape.

The weather was perfect, and it was overall a great day of golf.

Green were ok.
The fairways are a mess.
The course is too cheap to put grass seed in the divot mix (it's just sand), so, divots remain divots.
If they added grass seed to the sand, the grass would grow back.
Very frustating to play out of divors ALL DAY!

It appeared as though the greens had been sanded some time back, which nobody told me. The edges of the greens had lost of packed sand. They putted smoother than the green grass portions of the greens, which looked and putted like they hadn't been mowed in a month - slow bumpy. And the cups had no edges recenctly cut, which made the hole smaller.

The marshalls were rude in asking us twice to pick up the pace of play.

The wind was blowing 25 mph which made things difficult.

We played at a good pace and finished in 4 hours and 10 minutes.

I played one day before re-seeding. It was in terrrible shape.

Its a much better course when its green.
