Most Enoyble

This course is a very enjoyable, challenging layout especially from the back tees. Don’t let the yardage fool you if you are single digit. There are some holes that can sneak up on you to reek havoc with a steady round. The scenery and elevations are spectacular . The Pro Shop is always engaging and making sure you have. a good experience. This goes for cart and bar staff also. Play Carmel Valley Ranch and enjoy a most enjoyable round

Slow Play Deters From Great Course

Great layout. Unfortunately every time I play there are never any Staff to speed up play. This is a hard course and a lot of people play tees that are too long for them. It would be a lot more enjoyable if they would monitor the carts for speed of play and the course would make more money because they would turn more people. Great course for a reasonable cost.

Your are very correct. Kennsington is a great track to play. It's very challenging and from what I have seen a majority of the players are on the wrong tee boxes. It seems to be more troublesome later in the round. Plan for a 5 hour round on the weekend.

Don't Be Fooled

Open looking fairways lull you into a sense of security until one of the multiple traps grabs your ball. Greens can be very undulating depending on pin placement. You may put uphill until the ball reaches the hole and then it's downhill and into a catchment area if you hit it too hard. Distance control is very important on the fairway shots to avoid the bunkers; on the approach shots to be below the hole and on the undulating putts.
