Surprisingly good course for out in the middle of nowhere. Drive is pretty much 90 mins from the Palm Desert area. For the pricepoint it’s worth the drive once just to play it ... there’s really no service so as long as you’re expecting just to play golf and handle everything yourself, then you’ll enjoy the golf

Fabulous layout... too bad the greens are so poor. Slow and bumpy. If greens were up to snuff then would be on of the best plays on the valley

Played On 03/13/2018A great course gone bad
Annie would be turning over in his grave if he could see what they’ve done to his back nine, not to mention the sad state of his greens. Changes to the back nine have devalued the course and the 18th hole is a driveable 4 par now with a mini putt green. Only thing missing is the windmill.
The front nine and holes they haven’t changed on the back nine are still fabulous

Played On 03/08/2018From the arrival we had outstandingly service from the back shop to the marshalls to the cart girls. Course is extremely difficult from the longer tees ..
Pete Dye courses are always more challenging. But a very good test of golf and a good pricepoint
Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

Never been at a Coachella course with service like this. No carts available for early afternoon tee off so late 40 mins for tee off, had to swap the cart we did get after 9holes because it was running out of juice, staff was indifferent to everything like they couldn’t wait to get out of there. The only saving grace was we played on a discounted rate but doesn’t forgive the lack of service. Course layout was actually quite good, but greens were really slow and bumpy.

Not a fan of Pete Dye courses but this one was quite playable. Greens ( very small) and tee boxes were in excellent shape. The rough was dormant brown which took away from the experience but all in all a good value
