Kudos to the new owner and staff The course is better than it's been in years, even shows more pride in the course than when it was private.
They've switched the front and back nines since I played there last.
The weather was horribly hot, the pace was about 5-1/2 hours, but the course was in great condition, especially considering the drought conditions.
Number One at Brookside Golf Club

Played on a brutally hot Friday morning (100F +) and the course was still busy. Tee'd off on time with another twosome. Pace was a little slow behind a five-some until three bailed off after the turn. The course is in good shape. Greens can be tough as most pins were on slopes and made it challenging, but I enjoyed the experience and will return.
p.s. there are two courses at Brookside; this was the shorter of the two.
