Loved the fact that there are a variety of tee boxes which permitted me to play the course longer while it was shortened up for my wife. Good variety of holes made challenging by well placed bunkers and tree lines. MAJOR COMPLAINT - no directions between holes 14 and 15, Therefore, unless you have played the course before and know where you are going, getting lost is very easy. Just put out some signs directing golfers at this point on the course.

Despite being a short course, the layout and variety of holes make this a fun course to play. The course forces you to make good club selections and place the ball accurately in spots for a good second shot. Unlike many courses I have played in the area, there were no "crazy holes". Really liked the fact that the course was short from the women's tees so my wife had a very enjoyable round. Overall, a great afternoon.

First time playing Whirlpool was very enjoyable. The course is well maintained and player-friendly. Strategically placed fairway and green bunkers made the course more challenging. Some very picturesque holes. Only draw back is that much of the course is merely up and back style. Holes all start to blend in after awhile. Nonetheless, it was fun to play.

An enjoyable stroll through a course which provided some interesting challenges. Despite being a relatively short course, the layout forced you into thinking about club selections and lay-ups. Greens rolled extremely well. My only concern were the number of parallel fairways which made the course a bit dangerous with errant shots at times. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend the course. We are planning to move to Perth and would really consider a membership.

The front 9 is not very memorable - too many holes all the same. The back 9 is far more entertaining - water comes in to play, dog legs and sand trap challenges. It was fun using all of the sticks in the bag. Overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon. A major criticism is in #1 being the hardest hole on the course and #10 being the second hardest. Never a good idea to start a round that way.

This is a course where you need all the clubs in your bag. Good variety of holes and challenging greens. The 2nd 9 I played - Canal - had too many forced carries for my liking. For someone playing for the first time, hole #9 on this 9 was confusing. Overall, a great challenge, a great afternoon and lots of fun!

Willodell is a pleasing course with very wide fairways, and approachable and forgiving greens. The variety of tees provided golfers with an opportunity to play from different lengths. Overall, the course lacks creativity. Many of the holes are straight away and lack challenge. More sand traps and re-configuring some holes would add badly needed variety. It was an enjoyable, stress free round of golf which would have been made better if more thinking was required.

Very enjoyable course to play because it is challenging but not unfair to the average course. There are a lot of "risk/reward" type holes. Lots of places where you have to choose to either go for the gusto or lay-up and play it self. Therefore, I would define this as a shot-makers course. It was fun to think about club choice and then challenge yourself to make the shot. Overall, an interesting and enjoyable round.

Bathurst Glen is definitely a diamond in the rough. Who would have thought that such a picturesque course could be located only minutes from massive residential areas. If you want a forgiving course, that is superbly maintained and makes you think then this is the course for you. Although it is a short course, I found myself using every club in my bag. It was one of the most entertaining and enjoyable rounds of golf I enjoyed this year.

It was an enjoyable walk around a rather challenging course. Fairways were in spectacular shape and most greens were excellent - ball rolled true on all greens. The back 9 is more challenging as it is far narrower in places. Some of the holes are a bit long for a higher handicapped golfer.

A wonderful course with a fantastic layout. Not too difficult but forces you to think and make good decisions. Lots of sand traps. It's a fun course to play and certainly well worth playing again and again and again.

A surprisingly imaginative course. It's winter so most of the grass was dead but that didn't detract from the play. Back nine was much more challenging than the front. Fair landing areas, water came in to play often and sand traps were well placed. Greens rolled very well. Overall, a fun and challenging afternoon.

The course was player friendly - some difficult dog legs an some narrow fairways but overall it was not too difficult. Fairways were good and greens were very consistent.

eQuenelle is a picturesque course with enough challenge to keep one coming back. The fairways are immaculate and the bunkers at key landing spots and surrounding the green's force one to play strategic golf.

A pleasure to play a course with well groomed fairways, nice variety of holes and excellent greens. Some holes required thought about club choice and where to land your tee shot. Liked the thought required, but it wasn't too taxing. I certainly look forward to my next round at Glen Mar.

This was by far the worst course I have ever played on in my 30+ years of golfing. The fairways were rock hard with very little green grass. It was almost impossible to find a suitable place to hit your ball off of. The greens may have been the best part of the course and they were only fair. The tee boxes were a joke. From the minute on teed off on #1 until I hit the 81th tee, all I was looking for was the end of the round. I definitely will never golf this course again.
