Bonniebrook Club House & Golf Course
Played On 08/17/2014Inbetween a pitch and putt and a normal course
First off if you want a course to improve your iron game then this'll be the place for you. If you were looking for an actual golf course to play on with fairways, approaches, fringes, nicely mown greens and tee boxes then look elsewhere. Its unfortunate no scorecard was uploaded because it could've shown was we were heading into. The overall yardage on the course was 5000 yards. There was a stretch of par 4s on the back where the yardage was anywhere from 230 to 260 so nothing difficult at all. The par 5 to start the back was a 420 yard hole where at the normal distance is a manageable par 4 so it was just a weird layout of a course with even weirder yardages that left an iron shot and a chip to get you on the green in every hole. The greens were definitely in need of being mowed (they were basically a little shorter than your average fringe length.) Didn't really know what we were getting ourselves into on this course and I can't say I've ever seen so many people wearing cutoffs and jeans on a golf course. Thankfully it was cheap so not too much harm done. Just giving the first review of this course for anyone actually looking for a serious round of golf.
