In the first place, I signed up as a single. The starter told me to go ahead by myself behind several foursomes. When I was on the first tee another single, who was player with two others asked if he could play with me. Of course I said yes. Then I invited the other two fellows to join us to make a foursome. We did that and had a great day. Why didn't the starter set us up like that? He has the sheet with all the names and times.
Second, the greens, which normally are fast and true, were slow, grainy, and bumpy. I mentioned this fact when I finished the round and was told that they don't cut the greens on weekends which means that the greens had not been cut since Friday and will not be cut again until Monday. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ON GOOD GREENS, DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE ON A WEEKEND!

Greens were excellent. Fairways pretty good. Off the fairway had a lot of sandy spots but I guess I shouldn't have been there. Mostly tight fairways make it challenging. I will return and I recommend it to others.

In my last review, about a week ago, I was unhappy about the bag drop person's non distancing and the cart cleaning. That has been totally resolved and is now handled quite well.

We loaded our own clubs. The starter looked at our receipt from a safe distance and we were given single passenger carts (regular cart but carrying one person). Course is in good condition considering the lack of water in this part of Florida.

Everything is fine about the course. The person at the bag drop was rushing up to everyone to grab the bags from the cars. He passed out cart keys hand to hand and cleaned the carts by simply hosing them down, no sterilization. Very bad and difficult to avoid him.

I always love this course. For the price the condition is excellent. Greens are fast and true. I am writing this to complement the staff are practicing excellence in distancing and hygiene during this coronavirus. Kudos.

Great greens. Well kept bunkers. My favorite muni. Can't be beat fro the price.

I played the East 9 and the first 9. Course condition is excellent. I never needed to touch my ball. The greens are very fast and true. My only complaint is that the greens are mostly turtle shell shaped with sloping sides so that the ball tends to roll off the back or sides and it's rare to find a pin placement on a level spot because there aren't many. I still recommend this course.

This is not a long course but it has some challenges. Two of the holes require long carries or a lay up to avoid water hazards. Course management is very important.

Most impressed with the greens, fast and true. Bunkers needed work but maybe because if recent rain.

Fairway condition was less than average but the greens are great - closely cut, fast, and true. Course set up is a little strange but overall a great deal for $27. Also many houses around with children playing and dogs barking.

This course is one of my favorites in the area. Good conditions, challenging, and the price is right. After golf go to Tarpon Pointe, 6th St off of SR 64, right on the river for food and drinks.

The course was beautiful but the greens had just been airified. I wa booked through GolfNow.com to play on a Monday but the greens were being airified on Monday and Tuesday and I was never notified so after wasting $60 on a round-trip cab ride we played on Wednesday on the newly airified greens. Other than that the course was in excellent condition and quite challenging though not a long course. The views over the water were spectacular which really made the day. For $300 for my wife and I, it was definitely a disappointment.

We played the white tees on this windy day and it was a challenge. The greens were excellent. Water, water everywhere.

I am a 74 year old 11 handicap golfer. I played from the white tees and found the course very interesting and comfortably challenging. The greens were top-dressed but they rolled very well. I thoroughly enjoyed the folks I partnered up with and the quiet electric carts made it even more pleasant. I will be back to IMG many more times when I return to FL next season.
