Cold and blustery day, so course not very crowded. They (clubhouse staff) are picky about insisting GN customers stay paired together. They let it slide on this day because the course only had 7 groups on-course. Greens in pretty good shape, especially for this time of year. Course was soggy, as it tends to be after the rain we received lately.

Many tee boxes sparse (combo of grass, bare spots, weeds). Fairways mostly green, but very firm. No sand onboard the cart, so plenty of unfilled divots in the fairway. All greens like table tops, very firm and fast. Front nine greens in fair/poor condition, with many bare spots. Back nine greens better, but still some bare spots, and a little slower with longer grass and multiple weeds. Paid less than $10 with HD and discount code, and it isn't worth much more than that, unfortunately. The course needs some work, especially the greens. Nice, hilly layout, with multiple blind shots. Pace of play on a Monday was fine, but beware of playing on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as they have their old guy leagues those mornings.

Staff always friendly. Not sure how this course will hold up as the heat rises. I have never seen any watering of fairways (don't think they have a sprinkler system). Fairways are green, yet that is deceiving. Your drive will kick up a puff of dust as it lands on the runway-hard surface. Lots of rollout, which may help or hurt your result. Tee boxes fair (inconsistent surface), bunkers dried out and lack sand. Greens still good, a little on the firm side. Cart path in need of repair in many places, tree/shrub cutting needed along cart path in some spots. Overall course is in fair shape. I think it gets more play than it normally would (based on condition) because of its location. Not sure how much $ is being invested to maintain the course. Only occasionally see maintenance personnel out attending to the course. I play here because it is fairly close by, and the layout for the most part is enjoyable. If you are looking for a well-maintained course, this is not it.

Tee boxes inconsistent, some nice, some thin. Fairways are greening up, but very dry underneath. Bunkers mostly poor. Greens in good shape, roll true. Course could use some trimming of branches hanging over cart path in spots. Staff always nice. Hot deal at $33.99 + tax/fee not much of a deal, cheaper if you can get a senior discount, or wait until 3 or later for twilight rate.

Entrance road from Hwy. 108 turnoff to guard house is under construction, alternating pavement and dirt/mud. Once past guard house, long, hilly drive through neighborhood to get to clubhouse. Friendly staff. Played on a cool, misty, foggy day, so had the place mostly to myself. Course was soggy in places, but that was expected. Very hilly course, and a few signs could be added when traversing between a few of the holes. I hadn't played there in years (since they flipped the nines), so I had to figure out a few of the turns on the cart path. Tee boxes were sparse in places, with sand on some (hopefully grass will grow in during the summer). Wide fairways were green, hard to tell the firmness with all the moisture. Greens were in good shape, slow mostly due to the moisture. The moisture did pick up whatever minimal sand was left from previous aeration, but the ball still rolled fairly true. Bunkers seemed okay, hard to tell with the previous rainfall. Beautiful mountain scenery, with hills, meadows, and the occasional wildlife. Worth the drive, would be better on a nicer, drier day (but then the crowds would be out as well). A distance scope is a must to figure out yardages to hazards, and yardages to carry.

Tee boxes a little inconsistent, some sparse, others with longer grass. Fairways greening up, but very firm underneath, lots of shots from the fairway feel like hitting off of a driving range mat. Greens have small aeration holes, but no sand. Fairly smooth roll, but all greens very firm. Pace of play not bad, always backs up on back nine. Staff always accommodating and friendly.

Played On 03/24/2021Poor conditions
Staff is always nice and accommodating, especially to single golfers. Course was in poor shape. Many tee boxes sparse, covered with weeds or sand. Fairways mostly hard pan, lots of runout. Front nine greens shaggy, back nine greens better. All greens very firm. Bunkers were mostly decent. Pace of play always backs up on back nine. I played on 3/24, and I saw a maintenance crew aerating the practice green when I left. That may be a sign of an impending aeration of the course (which is sorely needed), so buyer beware. Might want to call ahead, as GN is not the best at publishing aeration alerts (might be the course's lack of communication). Today's condition was worth it only in the sense that I didn't pay much for the round. It's a fun course, with many challenging holes, but needs some TLC.

Course in decent shape. Greens firm and a little sparse in places. Tee boxes need grass. Staff always friendly.

Played On 11/02/2020Greens
Course not crowded on a cool, windy day. Staff always friendly. Only ongoing issue is the green quality. Very firm, approach shots hard to stop. Front nine greens still have many dead spots which make it difficult to hit a consistent putt. Back nine greens better.

Greens on front nine a little sketchy. Many have dead spots, making putting difficult if you have to traverse one of those spots. Back nine greens better. Course is a little dried out, I saw maintenance workers that seemed to be working on sprinkler system, so maybe that is the problem. Can get crowded, especially on back nine. Staff always very friendly.

Played On 09/22/2020Nice course
Wide open, fairly straightforward course. Nothing too difficult, only major challenge would be multiple greenside bunkers. A low handicapper would probably not be significantly challenged. Greens decent, a little burned out in spots, but very playable. Fairways not quite mowed as short as most, but rough not very thick. Played on a beautiful fall Tuesday afternoon, and course not crowded. Twosome played 18 in less than 3 hours. Course is out in the country, so not sure how crowded it gets. Pro shop attendant very friendly. Nice electric carts. Probably wouldn't play this course regularly, but it was worth the drive to play at a leisurely pace on a decent course. Good $ on GN hot deal.

Played On 09/09/2020Tough Conditions
This was probably the worst condition I have seen WH in quite awhile. They usually keep the course in good shape, but today was surprisingly disappointing. Many tee boxes were dried out, with sparse grass, and hard dirt. Fairways were green, but very firm (a plus for us short-hitters), and some approach shots were off of hard pan. No watering noticed while I was there, which is unusual for WH. Greens were the biggest disappointment. Most had numerous brown patches, and surface was quite bumpy. On the plus side, the staff at WH is always professional and very courteous. Hopefully they can repair the greens, and water some of the dry areas.

Course in great shape on a cold, sunny day. From tees to greens, bunkers, and fairways, all in good shape. Light crowd allowed for quick round.

Staff always friendly. Many tee boxes need mowing, it is like hitting out of the rough on some holes. Fairways very tight, I worry about them recovering next spring, as they were not watered during the drought. Most bunkers either washed out or very firm, definitely need work. Greens are soft and green, and it looks like they are treating the weed problem. Many small dead spots where weeds once were, hopefully the grass will grow back in, and the greens will be nice again. New carts are nice, but not as much power as the old ones. If you have a cart bag (no tripod) with a wide base, the new carts make it difficult to accommodate that type of bag. It is a tight squeeze to get one bag to stay seated in the small base (has a divider to separate the bags), not sure if two similar sized bags would fit.

Course in overall good shape, they are proactive with watering. Only complaint was the greens, light sand on most of them. Not unplayable, but not a true roll.

Staff always friendly, course not crowded on a hot Thursday afternoon. Most tee boxes a little shaggy, probably trying to survive the heat and drought. Fairways brown-green and very firm. Greens still green, mostly soft, but with lots of small weeds, or small brown spots where weeds and grass have been treated. Some greens are tough to putt on with all the weeds. The owners seemed to be putting lots of attention into the course, but that seems to have slowed. I saw the occasional mower, but no watering whatsoever on a high 90's day. I enjoy the course, it just would be nice if they continued their upgrades from the past.
We appreciate the review. You rated us 3-stars which means there is room to improve on your recent experience at Creekside Golf & Country Club. Thanks for the feedback. We hope to see you again soon!

Course overall in very good shape. Staff always friendly. Fairly new carts are nice. A little crowded for a Monday morning, but it thinned out as the heat increased. Major complaint was the greens. Not sure when they were aerated, but all greens still had RR tracks with sand. Not very playable. No notice on GN. Not a day to keep an accurate score, as no putts actually rolled as intended.

Greens in excellent shape, they are doing a good job of keeping up against the heat. Fairways in good shape. Bunkers could use some sand in places. Some tees are showing wear. Staff always extremely friendly.
