Good value. Nice Layout. Very nice amenities. Fairways and Greens in good shape. There are several spots on the course that need some attention. Working on the bad spots on the greens, but bunkers need attention.

2 nd time playing this stunning course West of Phx.
Love the layout. Not overly hard and very fair. Greens were consistent though hard to hold..
GPS in cart would have been nice.
Beautiful views of the valley.

1st time playing in 2 years. Course was in good shape.
New sand in Green Side bunkers. Fairway bunkers still are need of more sand, but they are taking care of them. Overall very nice facility with upgrades to clubhouse. Great course and 5 sets of tees should make it enjoyable for any type of player. It's good to finally play a course in the area that is not skimping on maintenance.

1st time that I played this course in 2 years. Course was considered to be 4 stars and part of packages with Longaberger and had always in good shape. Parts of many fairways burnt out. Greens and Tee Boxes also starting to get in bad shape. Many bunkers unplayable. Need to hire some maintenance personnel or have the ones you have do their job. Very Disappointed.

1st time I played there this year. It is still one of the best public layouts in Ohio, but course conditions are starting to decline. Most noticeable was condition of bunkers. Lack of maintenance is evident. Grass and weeds starting to grow and they were very inconsistent. Tee boxes looked like they needed some TLC and unfixed divots on greens are going unaddressed and starting to see decline on some of the greens. No Longer 5 Stars.

I decided not to play the Black course due to the difficulty and the walking requirement. Was glad on my decision. Enjoyed my round playing with 2 NY residents. Course is great for a mid-handicapper. Still long and challenging. Great condition for state maintained facility. Only downside was slower play ~ 5 hour + round.

Drove 90 miles from Columbus to play due to excellent Golf Now deal. I wouldn't pay the regular rates to play as tee boxes and green were worse than your typical Muni Course. Bumpy and burned out in spots.
I'm sure the course was in much nicer condition back in the day when they had LPGA and Sr. events on it. They layout is nice and for the amount of people on the course the pace was nice, ~ 4 hours. Service and Clubhouse are still in good condition and in line for their normal rates.
I'm surprised with the decline in the course conditions they are still allowed to use the Nicklaus name.

I was initially apprehensive because of the price, but it was a very good value compared to what I paid for playing a course just north of Vegas the day before.

Wonderful views and location. Playing the different style of holes was different and refreshing.

Course was in great shape and staff took great care.

Had one of the 1st tee times of the day on the Palms and got it in under 4 hours playing with a someone they paired me up with. This was a very nice course and worth the $75 I got throug GolfNow.
Great warm up round for a long Phoenix weekend golf trip.
