This course is overbooked on the weekends. Way too slow. They need some work on the cart paths and there were several areas near tee boxes with holes that need filling. Many tee boxes in rough shape.

If you like hitting off dirt, these are the fairways for you. Greens were very nice. There needs to be more attention to getting these fairways in better condition. We have been here for over a month and there is no improvement. Very disappointed. Course has a very friendly staff and a nice layout. Not worth the price. Much better conditions at other courses on the island.

Played this course a few times on this trip. Beautiful fairways! Greens are nice. Subtle breaks. We’ll be back next year!

Golden Bear has consistently had the best fairways in Hilton Head in March. Fairways are beautiful! The best value for Spring golf in Hilton Head. So many courses on the island gouging on price with very poor conditions. Keep it up Golden Bear! We will be back!

This is a very nice layout, friendly staff and excellent greens. However, the fairways were very thin. If they want to say the grass is dormant and it’s early in the season, the price should reflect that. Price too high for conditions.

We have played this course before, and liked it so well that we drive an hour and a half to play it. However, this time the pace of play was so bad (5hrs). There were holes where we were stacked 3&4 groups at a tee box. This is hard to understand with 10 minute tee times. They need a Marshall on the course to keep things moving. This ridiculously slow play is definitely a deterrent for our return on a weekend. The positives are it is a beautiful course and the conditions were very good.

We enjoy this course. It is in great condition for this time of year. A good value and the staff is always very friendly.

Course was in great condition…fairways…greens…EXCEPT….the bunkers were atrocious….. very little sand in the bunkers…lots of pebbles….like hitting off of highway 278. Could use a ranger on the course. Pace of play could be better

Shipyard was in decent shape for this early in the season. The “Hot Deal” price made this a good value, however if I had paid full price, I would have been disappointed .

We have played RobbersRow several times while in Hilton Head. Greens are in excellent shape, however the fairways really need some work. Love the layout. One thing that keeps us coming g back is a very friendly staff.

We have played Robbers Row several times on this visit to Hilton Head. The course needs a bit of work . Very thin fairways. Very nice greens. But, the one thing we have noticed......the staff is so friendly. Every single person that we have interacted with at your course could not have been any nicer! Great job, making us feel so welcome!

We have played this course several times over the last few years. The condition Of the course has deteriorated. The fairways are extremely thin. The layout is very nice , but without a Golf Now discount, we would never pay full price for this course. The conditions just don’t warrant it.

We have played Bear Trap several times , when vacationing in the area. This year the conditions on the course were not good. The normally plush fairways were pretty torn up. Many bare spots and very thin overall. In addition, we had made a reservation ahead of time, arrived early, but some pushy guy came along and insisted that he get out on the course. They let them go out ahead of us! We didn’t appreciate that.

This course is in rough shape. Tee boxes were rough . Absolutely no thought or attention to women’s tee boxes. Greens were a mess from ball marks. Fairways needed cutting and water! Lots of weeds.

This course is excellent. Fairways were like carpet. There are some really great views all over this course. Cart path only today , because it has been so wet, however not too much water on the course. Nice condition for May! Got a great deal on greens fees through golfnow.

This a very scenic course. It was challenging but fair. Not too many carries. I would suggest a map of the holes on your scorecard. For first timers at your course, there are some very tricky holes out near the marsh. Holes number 7 and 16. Overall , course is in very good condition and I really enjoyed it.

This course was a little heavy on the hazards for the average golfers. Course was in rough shape very thin fairways and greens were rock hard.

This was a very enjoyable round of golf. Course was in pretty good condition for this early in the season. Pace of play was great.

This is a very nice course in great condition. However, we remembered why we stay away from this course. The greens. The greens are so firm and pin placements are such that it is impossible to hold many of these greens. Sloped to a point where even the best looking approach shot will not hold on these greens. Too frustrating for your average golfer.

This is a beautiful course in very good condition. Pace of play was excellent! We will definitely be back.
