There was a downpour of rain an hour before we were to tee off. Still sprinkling the first few holes we played. Still - the Pines Course was puddle free, and we had a great round of golf. The employees in the cashier office were outstanding!

We are staying in Miramar Beach. The drive to Blackstone is well worth the trip. The course is well maintained and fun to play. The greens were in great shape. Five different tee boxes for all levels to enjoy the course. My wife and I will return before we leave the Destin area!

With all due respect, the County recently purchased this golf course a few weeks ago. Apparently it was in dire need of maintenance. There were quite a few bulldozers working the course. Very hard to navigate around from hole to hole. We even had to let another twosome go in front of us so we could follow them to the next tee box! If you do not know how to put backspin on your ball to stick it on the green, you are in trouble. The greens are very small. Maybe the county will be able to get the course in decent shape by the summer.

My wife and I played Mountain View three times on our visit to Fairfield Bay. Course plays really nice. Greens were in great shape. Need to get used to playing on mountain courses. Lots of sloping fairways. Once you get used to playing mountain courses, you will find that Mountain Ranch is a great course to play.

Thought I would try this 9 hole course since I was in the area. It was extremely difficult managing the course. Shot at the wrong green twice! Fairways were rocky, and I had to place my ball in some grassy area to shoot. Greens were nice, but the rest of the course was unsatisfactory.

My wife and I play this course quite often. Especially when the weather gets cooler. We normally play 18 holes in less than four hours, and we are both between beginners and intermediate golfers. We like to start play on weekday (we’re both retired!) afternoons finishing our round about 5:00 pm. Never are we pushed from overcrowding like most of the northwest Houston courses are. Most of the time, it’s like having the golf course to yourself! The wonderful people they have working in the pro shop are always nice - to say the least. The course is normally in very good condition.

This course became my wife’s favorite course. No par 5’s, with a 29/31 scorecard. Course was in great shape including the greens. If you want to get some great iron work, this is a great course for that.

We had just experienced quite a bit of rain in the Houston area. We were instructed to use the cart path only - which made our round quite lengthy. The course was actually in good shape. Greens on the Augusta course had recently been aerated, so they were not really true. The Biloxi course greens had been aerated a few weeks before, and were in good shape. Will look forward to playing this course when the course is not so wet.

My wife and I played this course on three different days. One day was rather soggy due to rain the day before, but the other two were great golf days. Greens were true and the course was well maintained. Hope to be back next winter!

My wife and I are both pretty much beginner golfers. We both liked the course very much. Some of the greens are in need of minor repair, but the course was in good shape. We went back twice during our stay in Orlando. The more we played the course, the more familiar we got with the course and thus shot better scores each time. Will come back to play Kissimmee Golf Club when we return to Orlando. It borders a local airport, and there is plenty of small plane traffic. Could be distracting to some, but we enjoyed watching the air traffic - including a WW-II plane.

The last time I played on this course it was in pretty bad shape. They have done a nice job fixing the course up this spring. Not the most difficult course, but then I am not that good of a player - so we complimented each other! Was proud that I made a par on the sixth hole where the green is surrounded by water!

My wife and I played the Valley course twice when we were visiting Myrtle Beach over Christmas and New Years. Even though the temperature was chilly (high 40's/low 50's), we had a great time playing golf on this course.
