Nice layout, still had somewhat winter conditions, will definitely go back this summer.
Tanglewood Resort Hotel and Conference Center
Played On 03/24/2018Nice Little Hidden Gem
Played last Saturday for the 1st time. Pro shop guy was ok but not overly friendly. Driving range was ok but needs some grass as Mid March equated to winter conditions still. Same for the course, although fairways weren't bad, you could still see some dust/dirt fly when a ball landed. I'm sure when summer gets here and the grass begins to grow out of it's dormancy the fairways will be lush. Greens were slightly bumpy but not in too bad shape, again when summer gets here I expect them to roll terrific. All in all the holes were not mundane or repetitive as there were some unique holes. Landing areas are generous as with a typical resort course, bunkers were in excellent shape, best I've played in this area in a long time. All in all a great day on a course that I didn't know about. I'll definitely go back in a couple months.
Twin Creeks Golf Course
Played On 03/10/2018Some things never change
Well, I arrived an hour before my tee time wanting to warm up but they were out of range balls so I was only able to get about a dozen or so swings in before my tee time, and as normal they were out of carts as they’ve never replaced all the broken down ones in the back of the cart barn. Pace of play was 6+ hours on a Saturday but that’s not unusual here. One reason was the twosome I was paired up with(who checked in right before I did) never showed up for our tee time so i let 2 foursomes go through to find a threesome to join (of course I called the pro shop from the first tee and they had no idea where the missingtwosome was, no effort to contact them either) then while my group was finishing up the first hole the missing pair cut in front of the 2 groups that I let go through and further backed up play. Never saw a Marshall all day and saw the cart girl only once and that was on hole #2. The only reason i played here was the fact that it’s close to my house, certainly not the cheapest or the best course nearby and it for sure won’t be on my list to play again until it’s either sold again or goes bankrupt. Not a bad track but not maintained for years
The Trails of Frisco Golf Club

Was one of the original members of this course back when American Golf owned it before they sold it to Palmer Group and then the current owners. Really sad to see how this course has deteriorated over time, bridges damaged 2 years ago with no apparent plans to replace, cart paths almost worse than Twin Creeks. The course itself was in decent shape for this time of year but fairways are tight, greens rolled well, and there was actually sand in the bunkers.
WestRidge Golf Course
Played On 09/09/2016Staff Issues
I have been playing this course all summer on Friday evenings to get at least 9 holes in with no issues until the last 3 times I've gone there. Case in point, last Friday I was in line with a single who was matched up with a twosome that had a tee time so we figured we would match up and join them as there were no other singles on the sign up sheet. After he payed I told the guy behind the counter that I was a single and could go out now with the guy who was just in front of me. He rudely snapped back that it would be at least an hour before he could get me out, to which I replied they are going out as a threesome, which he said he didn't care and it would be an hour or so, did I want to play or not? I replied I would go down the street and he said "good luck" to which I went to Plantation and walked on for $25 with no waiting. I'll think twice about coming here again as this isn't the first time I've been met with a rude staff member behind the counter.
Twin Creeks Golf Course
Played On 07/05/2014Still a very long way to go
We thought we might try the course once again after a 3 year hiatus having been a former member. Booked a good deal on golfnow but the guy at the counter charged the rack rate (difference of $20 for the both of us) He never even checked his screen. But of course he's been here forever and a part of the old rregime that I guess hasn't changed yet. The course is in better shape than it was when I was a member but still the cart paths are in poor shape which isn't a big deal except for the teeth rattling jjolts. For the money we ended up paying (after making them issue a refund) it wasn't bad but still a very long way to go to match other courses within a 10 mile radius.
Oak Hollow Golf Course
Played On 3/1/2013Not a bad muni except for the time of year
This course plays much better when the grass isn't dormant. Lot's of bad lies because the ground is so crusty at least you can get a little relief when the bermuda is healthy and green. Staff is ok, didn't notice anything bad, carts are in ok condition, round wasn't too bad for a Sunday being a muni but it can lead to 6 hour rounds given the number of beginners out on the weekends.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. Thank you for the 4 stars! We aim for a 5-star experience, so we always welcome feedback for improvement. Thank you for playing The Bridges Golf Club.
