If you are looking for reliable conditions, interesting and challenging layout, fair price, then this course is worth playing. Shot making and not raw distance is the name of the game for this course. Which makes it enjoyable for all levels of golfers. Course was in great shape for this time of year. Plenty of water holes and enough blind shots to keep you honest.

The round was great, nice layout, conditions as good as you will get this time of year. Pace was great. We golfed in the afternoon and we finished almost a full hour before sunset. At the end of the round, before our 45 minute drive home, we needed to use the rest rooms. Back door locked, front doors locked and the worker cleaning the golf carts had no interest in helping us out. So a great day golfing, great value, but all we remember is dropping off the cart and rushing down the road to find some facilities. There were other golfers also still on the course so it was not like staff waiting just for us.

It had not rained in a few days but areas of the fairways were very wet. Seems like overwatering caused by sprinkler system. Greens were in very good shape.

Challenging course with water and sand but fair tee lengths to accommodate any golfer. The course plays fair without gimmicks like many courses. Just play strategically and you will be rewarded. Decent greens but not deserving of an A+. We will definitely consider going back.

Had the first tee time. Course was extremely wet due to dew and heavy watering if fairways throughout the night. Hard to find ball in the fairway due to water. I liked the course on my previous round but learned not to play this course early in morning.

First time playing. Course was in good shape and very playable. Greens slow early in morning but better after sun baked them a little. Lots and lots of strategic water and deep bunkers so don’t be fooled by length of some holes. If you have “water balls” be sure to pack some in your bag. A fun course which plays hole to hole pretty quickly for a nice, short efficient round. We will back.

The course bills itself as a premier course but the greens roll like an unkempt muni course. We were out first in the morning and the greens were slow and fuzzy. If the grass grew during the day the late groups out would need a fairway wood to putt. Not what golfers would expect from a courses(s) that takes pride in themselves. The 2nd cut in fairways and around greens had not been recently mowed either. We were looking forward to playing a premium course but were disappointed.

First time playing and my wife and I can’t wait to go back. Course was in fine shape. Back greens just coming from aeration but no effect on play. Really liked the setup of course. Short but never boring. Lots of natural challenges with water and well placed bunkers and trees. Pace was really good for a Saturday morning. Staff was welcoming.

First time playing the course. Very nice layout and condition of course was very good. Unfortunately it was a five hour round as there were 2 very slow groups in front of us and one of them was a group of five. Very frustrating. We were 15 holes in before the ranger showed up and apologized. Slow play ruins the game of golf.

Conditions were good. Greens had been aerated couple weeks ago but played fair overall. Lots of water and sand hazards. Most mistakes you make will cost you a shot. Good layout. Plenty of tee options so just be smart and pick the set of tees fit to your ability.

Played this course about seven years ago when it was a pearl. Now it is a ho hum, so-so conditions, chopped up due to potential development that did not take place, GPS nightmare which does not track to new hole locations. But for a $33 Hot Deal it was worth the money. Staff is as unfriendly as it was years ago when first visited this course.

Great roll on the greens and nice, well kept fairways. Really enjoyed layout with plenty of traps and wateter to keep you honest. Some tough pin placements but that was fine. Staff was friendly. Pace of a play when we played it n mid afternoon was quite slow.

Thought it was a good value until we got on the course. In the (temporary) clubhouse they told us irrigation system did not work but greens were great. This course had patches of green but mostly it was a barren, sandy piece of property. The fairways were near non- existent of grass and greens were sandy. Had one of the most unpleasant round of golf in a long time due to the poor course conditions.

Went off first tee time. Pro shop guy was kind of grumpy . Probably needed second cup of coffee. Played course once previously. Conditions were good. Course layout nothing special.

Nice course, decent greens, but the groundskeeper obsessed with watering fairways and keeping them wet. Ground was wet and soggy and grounds crew was still watering fairways all morning though it was only 65 degrees. Traps were full of water though it had not rained in a week. Wet soggy fairways distracted from what is a pretty good layout with some challenging holes from the whites.

Course had taken lots of rain the days prior but was well maintained. Greens were very fast. Nice course but layout is confusing at times and does not naturally flow.

Played the Canyon Course and great conditions. 13 on the stimpmeter we were told in the Pro Shop and that was about right. Only complaint is that there is lots of travel between holes which make for a long round of golf. Outside of that all good things can be said about this course.

Friendly staff, great conditions, awesome views. Challenging yet tons of fun to play. Blind shots make it difficult to play if you are first time at course like we were. But forget your score and just enjoy this course. If in the Tucson area make this a must play course.
