The course is definitely one of the harder courses around. 60 plus
sand bunkers, a lot of water too! The one thing wrong is they have geese. Not just a couple, but hundreds. Geese everywhere. You will be kind of grossed out having to clean your ball all the time now your towel has goose all over it. I ware two gloves to keep my hands clean.

What a nice place to play.Greens are great. This was great day. Worth the drive!

I played this quiet a few times. The course was in bad condition bare dirt mud ,no grass and we have had great weather! This has been a great winter course, they tarp the greens and used to keep it in great shape. The marshall talked to us at the turn and told us it was realy backed up, three hours later we finished. They didn't even have the ball washers out and we have had record sun and temps all winter.

I've played Avalon quite a bit over the years. it's a great course. They have made the course a lot easier by taking out a lot of trees and under brush . Opening the course up quite a bit.

Played twice this week. The course is in great shape. Greens are very nice and fast. Everyone I talked to [ locals,staff ]were very friendly. Had a good couple of rounds. I would highly recommend playing this course. It seamed like the grounds keepers were working hard to keep the greens in very good condition. Enjoy!!
