Westover Golf Club
Played On 08/30/2019Nice course overall
This course is a great test given it’s length. A lot of doglegs to the right. Course is located in a nice peaceful area with a decent practice driving range. The only weaknesses of this course is the course may be too long for some golfers. Worth playing given it’s value
Hickory Hills Golf Course
Played On 10/20/2018Decent Course
I've played this course a lot. It's a good track that has a longer but wide open front nine while the back nine is shorter and tighter off the tee. This course can be overplayed at times so the course conditions can be a bit beat up but it's a great walking course. Green fees are a bit overpriced however
Trull Brook Golf Course
Played On 08/28/2018Nice Course
Course is in very good shape with a lot of picturesque views along the Merrimack River. Some interesting holes including 4 par 3's that play downhill and 4 par 5's that can be reached in two. The green fees are a bit expensive and a couple of greens are too slopey and frustrating if you're on the wrong side of the hole. Still one of my favorite public courses
Stonebridge Country Club
Played On 06/25/2018Great Course
Stonebridge is a hidden gem in NH that has a lot of great holes with wonderful views. The course is very well-maintained and the course is pretty challenging which makes it fun. This is one of my favorite golf courses to play. The only weakness about this place is it's in a location that is far off the highway, which makes it inconvenient.
Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course
Played On 10/28/2017Fun golf course
I've played this course so many times, all in all in Course isn't in bad shape for a public course. Almost no trees on the course so it is a wide open courses with just a few areas with trouble. The greens should be a little more receptive and the course isn't too challenging which is my only criticism. Lot of fun holes with some reachable par 5's and a couple reachable par 4's for the longer hitters
Ridgewood Country Club
Played On 07/06/2017Okay course
Mix of wide open and tight holes with wetlands and hazards. Par 3's are all lengthy and the Par 5's are fairly challenging and long. Better to play from the back tees since the fairways run out on several holes. Course was in halfway decent shape but the rough was too penalizing for a public course. Received a lot of bird's nest lies and flyers coming out of the rough. I'd give this course another chance however.
Laconia Country Club
Played On 07/03/2017Nice Track
Nice hidden gem in Central New Hampshire. Affordable membership fees considering this course hosted the NH State Amateur before. $75 guest fee and $97 with a cart. Practice facilities are top class and the course has a lot of character with wetlands, large greens and a great challenge for all golfers.
