The course has been recently aerated and some greens were being repaired. The overall conditions were playable. Whispering Pines is a local favorite for me.

last outing the course was a little shabby. Some tee box and fairway grooming would have made play better.

When we arrived we were informed the grounds staff were aerating the front nine. The pace on the first round of the back nine was slow. It picked up the second time around.

The course was fun to play again. We were paired with a very charming younger couple who enhanced our round. The only issue was the fringe areas were deep and mower clippings left behind created a problem of lost balls in plain sight. Water hazards make the course an interesting challenge.

Today the course was very wet from recent rain. This created a little or no roll after ball landing. Some bunker were puddled. When dry the course is great.

Overgrown and unkempt fringe, putting area and rough. Surfaces were hard and tee areas difficult to place a tee.
