Played oaks and stone house. At 45$ for a weekday round this course is a steal. Best greens and fairway conditions I’ve seen in San Diego this time of year. 20$ for carts is excessive however. Scratch golfers/low handicappers may find the course layout lacking challenges and difficulty but doesn’t mean I necessarily think the course is easy. Oaks is old school park style golf , stone house much more challenging and visually impressive.

Played here a lot this year, staff can be inconsistent with start times , enforcing tee times, letting some people do whatever they want etc but always friendly. Honestly I love the layout of the course. Very challenging depending on tees. Fairways greener than anticipated for summer time but that comes at the cost of greens shape. Way over watered and torn up from balls landing and taking out chunks of grass. Very worth it to play at weekday price. Overall like it for the challenge and layout but find my self thinking what if when playing due to conditions around the course but can tell the staff are trying hard to get it playing as well as possible

Course is in great shape for the times. New carts and course is currently adding hazards probably for the farmers open qualifying. Fairly straight forward course, not ultra challenging but greens are in great shape as are fairways. Pro shop is continually one of the best around. Was running way late for my prepaid tee time (My fault) and after calling and talking to Luke I was able to get in on the next available time so I wouldn’t miss any holes and they were super accommodating. Compared to other SD courses at the same price like cottonwood , Carlton oaks, mission trails paying 55$ is a steal given the differences in conditions. Pace of play the past 4 times I’ve played there is always around 4:15- 4:30. Will continue to come back
