course conditions have improved greatly. congrats to the staff and maintenance

course is very woodsy and narrow at spots. you will use every club in your bag. We would be members if we didnt have to pay $20 each for the cart every time we played.

course conditions were terrible. this course redid their greens last year and they didnt get their moneys worth. poorest conditioned golf course tee to green in the tri county (duval, st johns, flagler) area.

this course could be a gem if they would improve the greens. course really needs to rip them up and get them right. tee boxes are mostly crap as well. right now RSA is the only course in the city and it should be better. once St Johns comes back up attendance here will drop unless they make it right. otherwise I love the course and would be a member, tight fairways and radical bounces and all.

my view of the course was tainted by the managements policy of treating golf now signees as second class players. we had a 1:30 tee time but got there at 12:30. no one teed off from 12:45 to 1:15 but we were not allowed to go early. of course the 1:15 foursome showed up just before there tee time then took 4 1/2 hours to play their round. last time i will play here no matter how low the hot deal may be.

Fairways and rough were in good shape. Greens were slow. Overall look of the course is third looking. Trees need to be trimmed and the surrounding areas are overgrown and weedy.
Played late thurs morning and had a 5 hr round. No starter and no rangers. Course is tough for the higher handicaps and there's no one out there to keep things moving.

This is the best conditioned course we play each year in Northern Illinois. Layout is great and the staff is exceptional. Got to play on an unbelievably low Hot Deal.

5+ hour round. partly caused by the Pro Shop who allowed a 4some to tee off in front of us on the back nine.
Normally play this course in 3+ hours so it was a brutal day

wish it was closer so I could play it weekly. Fun course to play from the blue, white and gold tees.

Tee boxes are layed out for every level of golfer-
Each hole commands your full attention but in an enjoyable way. Pro tips on the cart mounted GPS should be digested prior to your tee shot. Fairways soft and plush, greens were average speed with some undulations.
Nice course and we rated it one of our top ten statewide.

Pace of play, course conditions, and lay out above average. Add in the reasonable price to play and you have a great golf day.

course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. Challenging course because the 2 nines are so different. Holes are well laid out over a small acreage.
