I have played here throughout the past 6 years. I have never been found of the layout or condition of the course. There a few holes in the back 9 that are fun with high risk reward factors. I went today because I needed to play early before work and they had a 6:40 am slot open.

The course is currently in the best condition I have ever seen it. For the $30 something price range at this moment it is worthwhile. The reason I gave it a 4 stars on condition is because of past experiences.

I do not want my ratings to misrepresent this place. So no this place can’t compare in conditions or layout to some of the premier tracks around this area but what it lacks in those departments it makes up for in sheer fun. I have never been to a funner place to play. Or nicer for that matter.

It’s everything golf should be. The range area has been set up as a cool and wacky area but with every possible tool a player needs to work on his game. Music plays quite loudly and I am told this is regular (this was my first time). I went with my wife (not a golfer) And my 3 and 2 year old. I was thinking this was a bad idea and I was going to feel rushed to play fast and constantly having to get the kids. However, we were welcomed as if we were regulars for years and the atmosphere of friendliness carries over to the course where the patrons play in a free flowing manner. Not fast nor slow.

The track is very straightforward. There are no tricks here. Every whole has ideal landing locations for approaches but missing left or right won’t put too much pressure on your approach. Some of the greens could feature some hard pin spots but in my experience all pins on all holes were gettable. I’m guessing this goes with the funness of the place. For a course you can tell has been around for quite a long time the fairways are in good conditions and the greens are in surprisingly good condition. You can tell patrons pitch in the keep greens smooth by repairing their ball marks.

Best staff I have ever encountered and I’ve played at some upscale places. Mike in the pro shop was excellent. As was Derek who loaded and unloaded my cart. And an older gentleman that doubles as a starter and a bartender, who was very pleasant with my group even gifting my boys some balls to keep them entertained.

If you want to have a different experience I couldn’t think of a better place to go and have it. Drove an hour and 20 min to get here and I’ll do it again next mont.
