The Silver Fox is a subdivision lined trick track. I have no idea why this off the main campus course is part of Doral. The fairways are in good shape, greens run fast and that’s where it ends. Off fairway grass is thin in many areas. It was dry as a bone yet we still had cart path only. It’s not as tough as advertised and should go for about 80 bucks in high season. So disappointing visually. 2 of our three shot in the 70s - and we really didn’t hit it that well. Pass on this albatross.

It’s Dyker. Slow, poorly maintained greens and just very very average.

Greens had been aerated likely a couple of weeks before and no mention of this in the pro shop. Some were in overall poor shape, and all were bumpy and slow. No rangers either, so the pace of play even on a slow golf day due to weather, was slow. Dyker continues to be all about the catering business, so despite the of the graciousness of the few employees, it was a forgettable day.

First time player, 12 handicap. Reasonably challenging with great, true and fairly quick greens. Semi private, friendly staff. It's somewhat aging facilities seem to be on the ment - grass practice range which is good. Reasonably priced, good vibe.
