well, I played silver tee's which is good enough for even 8 handicappers. Nobody has business playing black or gold here. Why you can't see the landing zones which is why professionals will not play here.

Fast Greens, good fairfways.

Time line 4.1/2 hours because it is a difficult course.
I shot 42 - 40 something similar.

Hard course though, but recommend

Well this far away from Where I live, but coming back for PHX was well worth.
Course is challenging,, I played white tees
lies were somewhat tight, but manageable.
Bunker were great
greens were fast.

Brunt fairways, one player said because they had 100+ degree weather 4 or so days in row.

Out of the way for anywhere and kind of hard to find.

No military rate. Will not play again. But the layout is nice, but I am sure bye the heat of summer will be worse.

course is always great.

I am older now played white tee have more than enough distance.
Blue may i could have but funnier scorer lower from white.
Course is great always has been. Easter Sunday, i always play here after church, price was down 20 USD.
Really is a great course. Come summer time i will hit it again.

If you play mens white. the course is not long,
but gold tees are probably 20 yards a hole longer
black did not even look

Lay out will challege you,
I think all the greens are are up hill. and lots of undulations.
Greens roled True, and fairway was good too.
My first time playing it I booked through golf now and save 20.00 probably (40.00 my cost) then when i called the proshop. Got off before a tournement and we were done 3:50 so not bad. The othr prices were $55. to 70. Not going to pay that much.
For me it 1:30 drive 90 min so i have to pick and choos.

Don't be too hard on this course

1) Jane, is PGA teaching pro since '88. Nice lady runs the course
2) the Pumps are in bad condition because, well original not used for many years in 2000's, matter of fact only one pump working.
3) She has greens playable little shaggy some bare spots but you can play 2 putt rule. I had two kick in birdies.
4) Because the water problems (which she just got rights too) has to hand water because sensor are working. Yes the fairways are bare except for where the straw lays, so if you can't pick the ball clean you can score. I shot 75. Remember divots are to be small and shallow.
Her plan is to fix the pumps and work out from the green to 100 yards get grass growing on the fairways.
She has volunteers, but looking for help on cash flow of course, losing money daily. I like the course only Robert Trent Jones in the state of AZ I believe. So don't be hard to judge.

Same owner... first time have been here since new club house. I will tell best in Tucson, fancy.
Golf I walked it, so if you can walk do so.
pace of play, course was packed and I was able to walk on as a single. I waited on front 9, but it was too bad
greens are OK, but it is winter
course over fairways over seeded and are nice

This course is back to glory,
probably best course in Green Valley AZ.
Greens, are pre-mo, best I have ever seen seen them.
I have played out here on and off since 2004. Hasn't ever been this good.

You can play, but the greens where in last stages of fixing plugs, so by 1st week of Sept will be nice. Just too hot there. I play fast too, was held back by two I played with nice guy, but I like fast.

best this course has been In 5 years. it had greens that rolled (not brown and cracked).

I like playing there. It is really challenge actually because a lot of elevation changes. Grounds is getting hard, but greens are fast and put good.

WELL I DROVE ALL THE WAY OUT THERE 1 HOUR AND THE GATE WAS CLOSED.
SO WHOEVER IS MAINTAINING IS NOT GOING A GOOD JOB.
I AM NOT SHOUTING, JUST HAVE CAPS ON. BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED, AND RECEIVED COMPENSATION FROM GOLF NOW.

Let me tell you all the rain we have had, OMG,... first group out, just a two of us, we each had our own cart, done in 2:45 and I broke 80.
Best shape I have ever seen it.

Good time was hot though. I played white tee's shot 80 or 81 or 1 or 2 doubles depends how I scored it. cheat or not .

So if you have played here before, you know that this course has changed ownership probably 10 times since 2008 or so. Well, they are trying and succeeding. The greens are average because new grass, keeping them long because heat Fairways all have grass and wet. So I will play it again in couple months.
