This is the best post overseed condition I have ever seen at Western Skies. Really the best overall golf deal in the metro area.

I’ve played almost every good and every expensive golf course in the entire Phoenix metro area and the good time at Silverado starts with the guys who meet you to take your clubs, extends into the Pro Shop and then the beverage cart and then the guys who take care of your clubs when you finish. Tired of feeling like you aren’t important? Come to Silverado. On top of all this the golf course is always in great shape and very playable!
This may sound like a paid advertisement but it not. Most people only write reviews to complain but Silverado deserves this review!!! Seriously!

Second and last chance. Always overbooked on times and there are only so many apologies that count. Two groups on every tee box and several fivesomes. Not worth the pain.

One of the very best Par 3 courses I have ever played. Really fun, fantastic greens, just great!!!

I like this golf course but today it was in the best overall condition that I have ever played it. That doesn’t mean perfect but genuinely great shape throughout. Cudo’s to the grounds crew!

In better shape than many higher priced clubs and well worth playing.

Hate being in one but by far the best sand in the bunkers of any of the 6 courses I’ve played in last 9 days including three that were much more expensive. Course is doing great. I’ve played 3 rounds here this trip and will play here 3 or 4 more times over the next 10 days. Might not be a resort course but it’s a darn good course.

Generally you can always count on this course being in very good condition but not this time. According to one of the employees the greens had been verti-cut 5 or 6 weeks ago but all of the cut lines were not just obvious but had failed to heal at all.. Not to say the greens were bad but they simply did not live up to the quality expected for the price Silverado charges.

Requires a lot of local knowledge if you want to shoot a good score, lots of uphill side hill shots into sloping greens.
