Every green ran very well. Once the marshal moved the blockage in front we finished the back nine under 2 hours. As per most courses, they put something they want you to believe is sand in these excavations. You know the usual, .5 inches of cacked dust and concrete under the dust.
I would play Western Skies again.

Course was in good shape, loved the greens. Could have used more sand in the traps, but this is a problem at all area courses, probably due to the wind. Also the practice bucket was a little small, only about 15-18 balls which makes a proper warmup difficult. Was a weekend noon tee time, but the drink cart had already shut it down. Pace was decent finished in 3:45 but waited on most holes and shots and also had the group behind us waiting every shot too.

Great course, lots of interesting elevations and great vistas. If you can’t carry between 100 and 150 yards this probably isn’t the course for you. If carrying isn’t an issue lots of opportunities to attack the Green. I’m definitely going to be replaying this tract next time I’m in PHX

Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course

The course layout was good and in great shape. Pace of play was good. Went during overseeing, got poor directions to the driving range, should of had maps available. Really missed having some sort of course markers, anything a rock, stake, shrub, cactus anything would have been helpful for course perspective for distance and group separation. Not everyone will have a GPS or scope, me included.

Title says it all. They don't water in the winter, found out at the end of the round. Fairways dry, rough was dry and greens could barely hold a put from the fringe. Paid full fair, wouldn't pay $30 again.
