The best!

This course is such a treat! From the moment you drive by Ben and jerrys factory a mile down the road to the entrance into the golf course, you know you are in for a treat! If you ever have the rare opportunity to play this course, don't think twice!
The course architect couldn't have made a better golf course. So much elevation, so many views....you just don't want the day to end.
The course was in spectacular shape although the greens had just been aerated. They still rolled true and it didn't take away from the day.
Tremendous amount of bunkers on the course and very little water.
I put this course top 3 in Vermont. Right up there with jay peak and stowe mountain. This course is a MUST PLAY!

What an experience

From the moment you see the TPC sawgrass entrance, you are excited! The clubhouse is jaw dropping in size. The range/practice area is great. They give you about 20 balls for the $550 green fee. We had a caddie named Dan. Good caddie, not great.
Being a 6 handicap I went in thinking I had a legit shot to break 80. I played the 6600 tees.
The 1st hole seems like one of the most forgiving holes On the course. I managed to make par and it went downhill from there. Each tee shot makes you think where to not hit your next shot. This course is NOT your home course and will kick your butt. I ended up with a disappointing 91 but loved every minute of the challenge. If you get the chance to play, be ready! Be ready to hit those 200 yard bunker shots! Be ready to make bogeys.

Hidden gem

After driving by this place many times, I decided to finally try it out. I got a deal on group on to play this private course. From the road the course doesn't look like it has much elevation but boy does that change once you start down th driveway.
Staff and members are all so very friendly. The front nine is a lot different than the back nine. All greens have a lot of undulation and are some of the fastest in the state. The roll is very true on the greens.
They have a little grill stand set up between 9&10 and have a very well stocked pro shop with a lot of custom Manchester cc apparel.
I personally would rate this course better than equinox. If you ever have a chance to play this course, take advantage of it!!!
Only minor complaint I had was bunkers need a little more sand.

Real fun course

This course is going through an extensive renovation by architect Steve durkee (Okemo, Brattleboro, Williston)
All 18 holes are open and playable with a lot of construction going on. Greens are in best shape I have ever seen them and they have a total of 3 brand new holes open for play.
This course when completed in 2019 will be one of the best around.
The staff starting with the head pro George is always in a great mood and very helpful.

Greens took a beating over the winter

Played this course on day of opening. More than half the greens are FULL of winter hill. We are talking pure bare spots all over most of the greens. It will be atleast month or 2 before they start growing in.
Other than the greens, I have no complaints. They are doing some work on a couple tee boxes and has a temporary green on #10 that looks like it might be a while before green is back up and running.
I would recommend playing somewhere else

Not that great

Always heard good things about grand cypress. For being a jack Nicklaus signature I was very very disappointed. I've played many Nicklaus courses and I just expected a lot more from the course than what they provided. I played east and north Course and there are 2 different types of grass on the greens.
Staff and food was great!

Doesn't get any better

What a golf course!!! Had a stay and play over the weekend and couldn't have asked for a better time. This course is truly special.
One of the most difficult courses I've ever played due to the greens running 13.5! What a tremendous test.
Bill Hardin the membership director was there to greet us when we arrived at Course. Staff in the pro shop was top notch.
You must get a forecaddie when doing a stay and play and we got paired with guy named Peter. Great caddy and even better dude. Wouldsay to anybody....if you get a chance to play this golf club, you must take it!
I've read prior reviews and not sure why people say the members aren't nice. Everybody says hi and waves to you on the course.
Food is outstanding. House was amazing with your own little pool.
I will definately be back just because of the speed of the greens. What a fun day!

BEST IN STATE

I live 2 hours away and make it a MUST to play this course twice a year. You will NOT play another course like it. From the 1st tee until the 18th green you are in for a treat.
You are treated like you should be at a 5 star resort. They have bottled water and apples on 2 holes. Pace of play is always great. Only downfall is you must stay at the resort in order to play Course.
If you ever get the chance, Stowe mountain is a must play!
