This course is great and it's right in the middle of Anchorage. It has amazing views of the Chugach Mountains and on a good day you can see the whole Alaska Mountain Range, including Denali, from the clubhouse and driving range. I have seen a few foxes here on the course as well as a few beaver pelts. Golf humor. The staff here is super friendly and it's a great course to play for a beginner or advanced golfer. I would highly recommend this course to anyone coming up from the lower 48 to visit Alaska and would like to play a little golf.

This course is difficult. There are a few very unique holes including one where you have to hit a green you can't really see over a pretty large creek. Tough hole for sure. The course was in great shape, the greens were great, and the staff was wonderful. It's probably the most challenging course in Alaska. I recommend it highly and it'd be the #1 course I'd suggest to any serious golfer coming to Alaska.

I'm a beginner and this course was perfect for me. The fairways were wide open and very forgiving. There were enough bunkers and hills to make it pretty challenging as well. This was my first time playing a long course and using my driver and I actually shot a lot better than I thought but on narrower fairways I'm sure I would have lost 3 or 4 balls in the woods. I loved this course and will definitely play here again.

This course was very Homer. If you're not from Alaska you might now know what that means but it's a good thing. Everyone was very friendly and laid back as was the atmosphere, the course, the pace of play. All very Homer. The greens are amazing here. They have a goal of having the best greens in the state and I'd say they are there. It's a sshort par 3, 9 hole course but on a great day it may have the best view of any golf course anywhere. If you're anywhere near Homer and like to golf at all I highly recommend coming here and giving it a shot.
