This is a very good course with some challenging holes. Wonderful conditions, but just a little to much rain on some holes, but hey, it is Hurricane season. Really enjoyed the pace of play and the staff was tremendous, both inside the clubhouse and on the course. Played it twice while on vacation, and both times they were able to move my tee times up so I was not playing in the heat of the day.
Will be back on our next trip to Amelia Island.

After watching the Divide spend a lot of money on their greens that past year, I was really looking forward to playing the course gain. Well after hitting the first green, I can say there was no improvements on the greens. They were spotty at best. I so not understand haw a course with this bad of greens can be charging $60.00/round. Glad I got mine for a much lower rate. At even at that price it was no deal.

One of the best courses in the area, brought my cousins from Nebraska out to experience the course. They loved it. Course was in great shape and the greens were also smooth and puttable. Wonderful course where shot making is a at a premium. You have to be able to move the ball left and right. The staff was great, welcoming my cousins warmly, letting them have free range balls. Great Service!!!

I used to love this course, but over the past couple years it has deteriorated. Several of the greens where so torn up, that you could not even putt on them. Pace of play was terrible. We had several Tee boxes where we had 3 groups on the tees. There was no Ranger to help with this issue and it was really bad when you had groups of walkers catching up with those who were riding! Not the best round.

Image you are playing on a picture perfect day, no clouds, high 70's. You go to the course and first off, have to park on the road. You go check in, you are told that the course is 30 minutes behind. Heck no problem, go to the range get loose and then play. Well, I go back to the first tee 5 minutes after your time, and they are rushing you off. What about the 30 minute delay? Why didn't someone come to the range and get me? Bad start ad it did not get better. One of my playing partners left after 5 holes. I joined up with a twosome in front of us at the 7th tee. Finally done with the front nine, 3:11 hours. Outrages!!! Only good about the day was the young lady in the club house who gave me a rain check for nine holes without any hassle. Really like the course, but they need to work on the pace of play.

I have been playing this course for the last 10 years and it was in the worst shape I have ever seen it. I not talking about the greens, I expected them when I booked my rounds, but the tee boxes and fairways were in bad shape. On several tee boxes we were moved up (playing Whites), to make shaft boxes that were not even level. Fairways weer rough in some parts and good in others, but not up to this courses best. Hoping that it is because of the rain we had the past weeks and the course will improve as the season gets going.

Love this course, various challenges on the course. It was a little wet the day I played but the greens were nice and true. Always have a fine time when I play this course. One of the best courses in the Charlotte area.

This was a fun day out on the course. Played in the late afternoon, course was in good shape but the greens need a little work. Fairways were in good shape and the pace of play was fine. All in all, I had a nice round on a wonderful day.

This was a nice out of the way course that really stood up. Great elevation changes on the course really test your shot making abilities. Greens were well maintained and rolling true. Only issues was the fact that they let a five-some group of the back tees just as all the front nine groups were set to tee off. Besides that wonderful course.

Picked this course because of the history, enjoyed it for the challenge. This was a really nice course not to challenging for the intermediate golfer. I picked an after 5 tee time, but was able to get on the course about 30 minutes earlier then my scheduled tee time. Course starts off with a nice dogleg right and just kept getting better. Some really challenging par 3s and very accessible par 5s. Overall a very good course at a very reasonable price.

This course was really nice considering that it had rained for the previous two days. The fairways and greens were in great shape for the conditions. But the pace of play was ridiculous! Had members playing in the two groups in front of us and they were really slow. Each person stood around the others balls waiting for them to take a shot. No one played at "ready golf" pace. Really shot the PGAs' new mantra of " While we are young". Was on vacation and did not want to spend my whole day on the course, which I did. Teed off at 9:24 finished at 3:00. Way to long.

This is a fun course in the hills outside of Austin. It starts off with some nice straight warm up holes before it starts to test your shot making ability. #9 is particularly interesting with a blind tee shot only to leave you with a even blinder shot to a green which is situated about 70 yards below your site line. Also, it has roads on two sides. The back nine is fun with some nice challenging holes. Very well maintained course when I played, and worth the drive and money.
