Played On 11/01/2021Greens are in a little distress, but more than playable. 3 or 4 weeks and they will be fine.
Thank you for the nice reveiw of Leopard's Chase. As with all bentgrass greens in this region, the summer takes a toll on them and it takes a few weeks for them to recover and return to optimal condition. But they are very playable now and will be getting better daily now that the weather has cooled down. They will be in fantastic shape in spring, as always. We hope you will come visit us again soon!

the course is very nice , greens were good shape and fast. overall condition was very good except for the tee boxes. Tee boxes need work. pace of play was bad, no ranger, had to wait on tee box 5-8 minutes on most holes. starter told us that a group of 24 had teed off ahead of us. they were obviously playing the wrong tees, taking 3-4 shots to get to the par fours. five plus hour round of golf for no other reason than there was no ranger to tell these guys to get moving. 3or 4 times there was 2-3 groups behind us on same hole waiting.

Course is under a total renovation. the new owner has already made major improvements, but there is a long way to go yet. I believe golfers will be very pleased when the reno work is completed. So if you don't mind the work going on, then this course is good value.

While this course is short, there is trouble on every hole . A lot of water and wetlands to deal with along with some tight fairways. greens were good shape with a moderate speed. If you hit a long ball off the tee, then you better be playing a hybrid or long iron off the tee on most of the par 4s. I recommend this course with the caveat of, you need to play it 2 or 3 times so that you know where all the trouble is located.

A very good value . The course was in good shape. The greens were a good speed but very grainy and sometimes tough to read. Several holes require course knowledge to play them properly. We enjoyed our round and would gladly return to play again.
Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club

The first 6 holes are strictly old Florida style golf course with swampy areas and grainy Bermuda greens. The next 12 holes are more open and modern. The greens are better and not as grainy. Right now some of greens are a little rough because of over fertilization. In another month greens should be fine. #3 is a tough par4 that plays longer than it looks over a pond.

the course as maintained very well and they seemed to have plenty of people working on the course. the greens had recently been aerated and not healed fully, so the greens were a little bumpy. I highly recommend this course to play. five sets of tees offer golfers of all ability a challenge if they choose to do so.
