Had heard that Westridge went through a really tough stretch as far as course conditions. Found it to be in good shape this morning, with the exception of the refurbishment of the tee box on number 11 (short Par 3). Greens were running pretty quick - and the pin placements were pretty brutal for a weekend. Had the blue tees up in the same box as the white tees on quite a few holes.

One big complaint about the course is the fact that they have entirely too much sand in their bunkers. Any ball that goes in on the fly is almost guaranteed to plug and it is really difficult to play out of such deep sand. It's like they ordered three years worth of sand and decided to use every last grain instead of saving some to refurbish the traps later.

Overall, it was a really nice round on a very challenging course.
