Great value, fun layout

Overall the facilities are a bit plain, the parking lot for instance is gravel, however the bar and patio are great for a post-round beer and there are also food options.
As for the course, there are four tee boxes and if you like it long, you can get it. The fairways are forgiving and not a lot of water or OB but if you are playing sloppy you can lose a few balls. The greens were aerated a couple of week before our round today and as such were not good, however I have played here before and they are typically very good. They are pretty large but offer breaks and ridges to test the putter. Prices are reasonable and I would recommend it to all.

More difficult than it first appears

The course has a couple of short holes, but a reachable par 5 and one reachable par 4 makes it fun, not short. The other holes are reasonable, it is only 9 holes so to play the "back" nine there are addl tee boxes. The course is very hilly and it is quite a bit more difficult to hit from angled lies vs flat fairways. No water, most greens have bunkers but not too onerous. Five of the holes have woods on one side of the fairway making errant tee shots turn into penalty strokes. Greens are ok, pretty large but not real imaginative. Decent course overall and I would suggest you give it a try.

Great layout, nice after-golf facility (non Covid)

I really enjoy this layout, there is some diversity to the holes, good length for longer hitters but multiple tee boxes to allow for all types. Not much trouble from water, OB or sand however just the typical New England woods to lose a ball or obstruct your shot. The course is in OK condition, not especially manicured, the traps a bit unkempt and tee boxes spotty in places but it;'s certainly not horrible. due to Covid the bar area is not open, however in the past it has been a nice place to unwind after a round - will play there again.

Fun, casual and worth the drive!

Fun layout, challenging at times but not intimidating. Multiple tee boxes equals out the distance requirement for big hitters or seniors. Fairways are wide and there is not much water or sand but is challenging enough. Staff is great, no stuffiness here. The post-golf bar and grill are great during non-Covid times, will play here again.

Nice layout, lacks sophistication.

I do like the layout, but it's at the expense of other amenities found in more elite courses. Plain, small clubhouse, (with some food, beverages - including beer) poorly maintained practice area and generally disorganized management. Fairways needed mowing, traps needed more sand and some raking - but the greens were in decent shape albeit a bit slow but it is May. The layout offers a nice diversity of tee boxes allowing you to play to your distance preference and make not mistake, it's not an easy course. It requires fairly precise distance control off the box as well as on approaches, most holes are tree lined and there are a couple of forced carries. It's not a difficult walking course as the green - to next teebox distances are short. I would play here again but this course could be much more.
