Played this course because it was 214 feet below sea level. The layout was great…lots of fun holes requiring lots of planning. The conditions were not great…painted fairways/greens…am sure it was a fertilizer paint, but it hid the fact that there was very little grass on the greens and very spotty fairways. Winter conditions had a lot to do with this, so hopefully I can come back “in season” and find a great layout. Not really worth the $75 to play.

Second time playing and it was a good time. A wide variety of holes, with some dogleg holes that require an accurate tee ball. Greens were good…held shots well and putted smoothly. Pace of play was a bit slow…slow 4 ball had things backed up. Had a good playing partner which helped the pace…able to visit between holes. A fun course for sure.

First time playing this course. Course was in very good condition…for winter conditions. Fairways were good, greens held well and were very fast. Greens are large and have lots of undulations, which makes putting very interesting. Playing the first time I found some tee shots were tricky, not knowing exactly where to place the tee shot. Overall this was a great time on a fun/challenging course. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Found a good deal on Golfnow and was staying in Casa Grande, so this was a good fit. Course itself is pretty much an up/down course, meaning the holes mostly paralled each other...not a lot of variety. The greens were very fast due to them being so firm, which in turn was why shots into them rolled so far. Got paired with a very nice couple, who were members, so got some local knowledge of where to hit the ball. The fairways were ok...not good enough to play it down, but not really long either. It was a fun experience and I would play this course again. It was worth the money,

When in the San Antonio, TX area this is a must stop if you like to golf. Two distinct nines. The front nine is a links style course...fairways bordered by long grass. Always good to keep it in the fairways for sure. Greens held well and putted very nicely. A variety of holes required lots of different clubs. A good test for sure. The back nine was "down" in an old quarry and is absolutely beautiful. Loved playing this side. Lots of rock features and some strategy is needed to negotiate this nine. Every hole took some good golf concentration to get the tee ball in the fairway and then figure out what it took to get it too the very large greens. A very enjoyable and picturesque nine holes. Will definitely put this course on my replay list when in the area.

This course gives you two different types of layouts. The front 9 is a links style course...long grasses border the fariways and no trees can be found. Lots of challenging shots. The back 9 plays inside an abandon quarry. Water and long rough in play a lot. One must hit straight on this tight driving 9. It was a great experience and well worth the green fee. The views are great. The greens held a shot wll and putted true. A must if in the San Antonio area.

This is a very interesting course in that it is a bit difficult to figure out exactly where the next tee box is, on a few of the holes. Got to go out as a single so pace of play was great...course not very busy. The fairways and greens were in good shape. Greens held well and puttted nicely. Enjoyed the challenge of the holes, even though a couple of times not exactly sure where to hit the tee ball. There are some very tough holes that require a big tee ball and a long iron. Was a fun day on a fun course.

This was my second time playing this course. Had rained the night before so it was cart path only. Lots of walking as cart paths are a long way from some ideal places to hit your drives. Cart path rule was lifted when we got to 11 tee box...thanks! Everything was a little bit long...tees, greens and fairways. Greens putted slow and were bumpy but probably because of the no-mow day. Overall it's a fun course to play...lots of different shots. Hole #4 is temporary green. Will play again.

A .short par 3 course with some interesting holes. Longest hole was 175 yards and shortest was 80. It was super hot for this round, but we were the only ones on the course, so it played at great pace. There are some trouble spots where an errant tee ball will get one into the water. Greens putted nicely, not super fast but not terrible slow either. Got a great price on Golfnow. Would play again if ever in the Harrison area.

This.is a 12 hole course with all Par 3s. Absolutely wonderful golfing experience. Holes are mostly wedges, but the shots need to be placed carefully or you will get some tough putts! Was a great experience and a lot of fun. At end of the round they have an 18 hole putting green for some extra excitement...great test of putting also. Made for a fun day on the golf course...will definitely do this again.

Discovered a very nice 18 hole layout with lots of pine trees. It was a lot of fun golf. Course was not very busy and I got a great Hotdeal to play. Golfshop got me out as a single and I sailed around the course as there were not very many golfers playing. You have to be able to hit a good tee ball or you will find yourself in the pines...a good tee ball gives a nice look at the green. Greens putted great...didn't have to give it much to get it to the hole. Enjoyed my time and will be back.

A nice alternative to the expensive Wickenburg Ranch. Got a great Hotdeal and had a great day on the golf course. It was not a busy day so got right out to play and enjoyed a round with no waiting. Course offers a lot of challenging shots...one has to think a bit on how to play some of the holes. Conditions were good and the greens had a nice pace to them. You get to hit all the clubs in your bag and also get to hit a lot of different shots. This is a good course to play. Will be back.

Had always driven by this course and wanted to play and finally got my chance. Overall the course was in decent shape. Greens were nice as were most of the fairways. The tee boxes need some work. Lots of sandy areas and not very level. With a lot of par 3s...a flat tee box is a must. Greens were firm but did hold if a shot had some height on it. Green speed was slow, but for the most part surfaces were smooth. Some shorter par 4s to go with mostly par 3s. Played at about noon so the course was not very busy and I zipped around in about 3 hours. A bit of advice: don't use yellow golf balls on any of the holes near the driving range, because there are a lot of range balls that have escaped the range area...white is good.

Drive by this course all the time and finally decided to play it...but it was not a great experience. The check-in process was great, friendly counter gentleman. Got out a few minutes early. The course itself can be fun, but the course conditions left a lot to be desired. The bunkers had absolutely no sand in them and this is prime golf season....no excuse for the bunker conditions--dry and hard--pr.etty much a guess as to how the ball is going to come out. The fairways were decent...mostly...lots of burnt out areas that needed water--badly! If you missed the fairway it was just hope one could find some grass. The areas around a lot of the greens were not maintained well...the collars needed to be mowed and maintained...there was a "burrowing animal" hole just off the front of 17,,,with all the dirt from the animals digging just piled up. The areas around quite a few of the greens showed lack of water also....if you water the greens these areas should also be receiving water....need to be observant when dry areas show up...pretty sure very little attention is given to observing. They were doing some manual watering on a couple of fairways...but nobody was monitoring it and the water was really puddling up...could have moved these hoses to some other dry areas, with a little attention to the watering. This course has a lot of potential, but for being at the end of PRIME golf season it was in sad shape. A big disappointment for sure..

Had a good time golfing this course. Got a good Hot Deal. The pine smell is amazing. Tree lined fairways make hitting it straight very important . Pace of play was very good. The greens had some roll to them and it was imperative you not get above some of the holes due to the green speed…very fast! Lots of different clubs used due to the variety of holes. Will pay this course again if in the area.

Got GolfNow Hot Deal to play. Two greens were not playable—skipped these two and played 10/11 twice to make 18 holes. Very picturesque course with great golf holes. Most disappointing part was the greens. Long, slow and patches of weeds and bare spots on some. Everything else was nice. We played as a twosome and got around in 3 1/2 hours. Would like to play this course with good greens. Player service girl brought us a cart right in the parking lot…very nice. Golf shop was well stocked with good merchandise. Overall it was a fun day golfing.

First time playing the home course for Morehead State University. Got off first tee box early and pretty much had course to ourselves. This is a great layout where a good drive is a must. Holes were challenging but fair. Head pro said the college owns the course and the course is a bit short staffed. The traps on the course were in rough shape due to staffing issues. College needs to spend some money and make this course great. Potential is there. It is still a must play if in the area. Golf shop was nice and allowed us to shower after our round as we are traveling in our RV. Highly recommend this course.

Wanted to play some golf in Myrtle Beach and this was the choice. Had a wonderful time playing with a local member and some guys from Alabama. Course was in good shape and was a good test. Had to rent clubs so this made the challege even more of a challenge. Loved the layout and playing thru the Pines was great...I'm always a fan of the beautiful looking golf courses. Weather was perfect and the lady in the golf shop was more than helpful, as was the starter. I will play here again and next time will bring my own sticks. Great day of golf.

Played this course on a Sunday and the greens had not be touched...long and slow. There was a lot of debris on the course from a recent weather event...I guess. Lots of long grass that needs some attention....made for a round that was not as great as expected, from the maintenance stand point. Maybe I played on a day that was not up to par...but the greens were very disappointing...it was basically take a 2-putt and move on. Drove about 35 minutes to play here so it would have been nice for Golfnow or Painted to have some sort of notice about the condition of the greens. Pace of play was very good...got around in about 3 hours, so no complaints there. Hoping my next trip will be a lot better because this course can be fun to play.

Have played this course many times and each time is a great experience. The fairways were being verticut, but that was not a problem...just moved ball to a good area. The greens were in great shape...very receptive to a shot and putted true. Traps are nice also...and there are lots of them. A good chance at thinking ones way around a course...lots of chances to play some good golf...you won't be disappointed when you play this course.
