Southern Ridge Golf Club
Played On 04/04/2018Course was wet from all the watering. Greens seemed good, but were bumpy. Biggest complaint was standing water and muddy areas.
For the money if you want a course to practice on, this is your course. Not long so as long as you can hit the ball fairly straight you should be able to score decent. Right now with slow greens you can go for the pins and stop the ball. You will not get much roll in the fairways, but since it's not long, that's not a big problem. This is your $10-$20 course, but in time will be that $30 course.

If anyone is up for a senior open style golf course, this is the one for you. This is not a long course, but the greens are very fast. You certainly don't want to be above the hole. I'm thinking the pin placer had a very fun morning. If you are above the hole, even a tiny tap on the ball will send it off the green, you might even be chipping back to the hole. The rough is very tall and you probably won't be able to find your ball. So keep your tee shots in the fairway. This course will certainly test your skill level. I did manage an even par round, but that was only because of my short game skills.

Played On 6/15/2013Great course for the money.
The greens are in very good condition, the course is a left side fairway mainly (right side is trouble on most holes), has 3 men and 1 women tee boxes, there are 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's, the fairways are a little bumpy, but should be good in a year. Overall not a hard course, but can still make you focus on each hole.
