Early days here in southern Ontario and pleasantly surprised with the conditions at BS. Played here last week too and the grass has really matured in the week. Great drainage here so no mushy damp spots anywhere. The greens are still a little wintry but fine... another week or so they'll be good.

I've been playing this family owned course regularly for over 40 years and consider it to be my "home" course….though I've never been a member.
The layout seems simple with open fairways and greens approachable from the air or ground, yet every hole has it's challenges. Really a fair layout, but positional play is still important. Rolling fairways and enough elevation changes to please the eye, plus some scenic views from several elevated tees.
Course upgrades have improved the experience over the last several years, so players who haven't been there in a while will find improved sand traps, fairway demarcation and overall conditioning.
