Is this really a golf course?

Horrid conditions. Payed to play 18, but quit after nine. Course has many temporary greens. Carts can't be driven on fairways. Lots of swamp like areas throughout. Hard to identify where the fairways are. What a shame for the golfers of gallup.

Incredible vistas

Excellent golf. Temperature was 100 plus, but still enjoyed.
Would have been nice to see a beverage cart at least once.
interesting design, lots of elevated tees. Can see why its the #1 public course in Colorado

I have played this course many times over the last 10 years, and it is always spectacular. Every hole has character and a variety of vistas, which are quite famous to western desert high country courses, but at Redlands Mesa they are a 10 plus.

Very challenging on shot placement at times, but extremely fair when hitting the ball well. The grounds keepers do an outstanding job - Augusta National would be proud of them.

Hats off to Jim Ing's (spelling ? ) design and vision in designing a fabulous layout.

Staff is always great and the views from the restraint and patio are worth arriving early or staying late.

I have been fortunate to play over all over the US on many great courses, and Redlands Mesa is top 10 in all my rounds. If you are anywhere near Western Colorado or Eastern Utah - this is a must play!
