Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course - Deerhurst Lakeside
Played On 08/22/2023Not worth the $
Terrible tee boxes, even worse bunkers, slow pace of pace with no marshalls out there. The second hole is a beautiful view but the green is borderline unplayable sue to all the geese droppings. The course is free to play if you stay at the resort and it shows in the effort they put into course maintenance. To pay 55 bucks (with cart) to play here should be illegal.

You can see the hard work Matt is putting into the place. Super friendly staff, good revamped layout. Course will get better throughout the year. Will be back!
Deerhurst Highlands Golf Course - Deerhurst Lakeside

I have played this course a couple times and my experiences and the other reviews are true. Degrading conditions, no value for quality in my opinion. Staff is nice, Deerhurst is a beautiful resort, and the views are nice. Decent fairways, good rolling greens but all the pins were at the front! There was geese and poop on a lot of the greens. Some tee boxes are dead. Some greens are beautifully designed but were unplayable and not raked. The bathrooms by the 6th hole were disgusting! No beer cart out at 330pm (although course was dead to be fair). Save your 80 bucks and pay more to go play highlands, that will be your better golf and Deerhurat experience.

Course was aerating their back nine. There was no mention of that On Golfnow. Ended up cancelling our reservation and paid the course rate (5 bucks cheaper). Staff was friendly, told us that hole 6 had a temp green because of vandals on ATVs. Holes 4 and 5 had the same damage! ( tire tracks, grass clippings). Otherwise a nice front 9. Narrow fsirways and long rough.

First time out there. Short course at 5200 yards, but uniquely laid out so the course did not feel overly short. Keep it in the middle of the fairway and you have a great opportunity to score well. Typical mid summer dryness, so there was obviously some brown grass out there but the greens were in great shape

I have played this course a couple times, and is my go to course when in Huntsville. For the prices in the Muskoka refion, this course offers amazing value. This course is beautiful, scenic, wel layed out, and definitely requires good course management. The course has been open for only 2 weeks so there were some brown spots in the fairway but nothing outrageous. The staff are super friendly there, including Don the starter. I will drfinitely come back !
North Granite Ridge Golf Club
Played On 08/15/2017Hidden gem and greta bang for buck!
i have been playing this course for a couple summer now and it never disappoints!! The clubhouse and the staff are wonderful. The course itself is top notch. Not a wet apot on the course. The sand in the bunkers was beautiful. The greens were firm and fast, yet rolled true. The price is more than reasonable ( I booked on golfnow and got an afternoon rate under $50). Wont find any better value in the Muskoka region.
Wardsville Golf Club - Simon

This course is absolutely beautiful and in stunning condition! For the end of April this course is in mid summer conditions. There currently isnt a course in London that is in as good of shape as this course. The value and quality of the course make the commute out to Wardsville more than worth it. I will definitely be coming back
