A very nice course. Lots of elevation, challenging holes, mature vegetation and trees. Definitely worth the drive and would definitely play again.

Very neat course. Hole 15 is worth the price of entry. The greens were in great shape for being this late in the season. Can’t recommend enough.

Older course, short and narrow, but very fun to play. Some of the greens were showing some late summer wear, and it looks like they need to be punched. I’d have liked to see a Marshall patrol, but groups were friendly and let me play through (unlike other courses in the area). Overall, I enjoyed the course. I mostly kept the driver in the bag since the course is fairly short. The cart paths/layout of the course is very neat, just bring some big spray, the mosquitoes were pretty active.

First time playing this course. I didn't know what I was in for, but I have been looking for a course with water in the area for a while and the aerial photography for this course confirmed what I was looking for.
The course is a very well maintained municipal course, especially compared to some of the others in the area. Some of the greens had some bald spots which is a shame, but overall they were pretty quick. I enjoyed the undulation of the fairways and the challenge of going uphill on one of the par 5's. There were a couple of pretty memorable holes on the front nine, but the back nine was a bit lackluster, but to it's credit, played completely different from the front 9. I will definitely go again.
P.S. It was very refreshing that the pro shop area had an actual locker room that a person could change and the patio area was very neat.

Ironwood is in good shape right now. The greens are super firm but very workable. It's been fairly dry the last couple of weeks and there were some damp places along the edge of the fairway, but nothing that was detrimental to my round.

Round really slowed down around the 5th hole due to larger slow groups, but it was a Sunday and I expected slower play. Rangers could be a little more active with pacing.
